Sorry, about not getting back to you. I did get my tickets, but like
the day before the show. That whole week was a crazy time for me,
with the Fouth of July. Wish we could've worked out something, so we
could meet, but I didn't have time. I don't think I even got on the
computer the day before and the day of the concert. Anyway, I hope
you had an awesome time. Did you buy anything? I spent $95.00. I'm
crazy aren't I? I wish I could've bought that poster with Stevie
wearing the feather thing. Errr...no such luck. Here's my review that
I posted on the Enchanted Fan Listing...
I was there. Stevie blew me away. There was times I thought she'd cut
short a note, like in Edge Seventeen for an example, but she'd hit it
and then some. I was, so excited that she'd hold notes, so long. I've
only been able to see her four other times, but this time was my
favorite. I really loved, Gold Dust Woman. All the little differences
from Stevie, and the music, at times, makes it, so exciting to me.
Every performance from her always is different, never boring. I liked
the end of Gold Dust Woman. I was excited to hear, Still of the Night
and If Anyone falls in love, because I never heard those at a
concert. I've heard them live on CD, but not at a show. So, that was
a plus. I was pissed that this woman distracted me, in the next
section (I was in 221), because she was getting handcuffed, at the
end of, Still of the Night. Stevie was in a trance twirling a shawl
around her head, over an over. That sng is not one of my favorites,
but I appreciate it.
I gotta bring this up. Did I really see a person dressed up in a full
bird suit at the walk for Edge of Seventeen? Sorry, if you were the
one wearing it, but people were laughing their asses off. I didn't
know what to make of it. I just sat there is shock. It looked like
Stevie was taken back a minute, if that's what I saw. My vision isn't
the best anymore, and I'm only 29. Anyway, I was thinking Stevie has
probably seen just about everything, but that bird suit probably made
the list. What was that?
My boyfriend went with me. I've converted him. He has said he'd
wished he had gotten into her music earlier in life. He's in no way
as crazy into Stevie as me, but he's doing good. He always likes
Dreams, Rhiannon, and I saw him rockin to Sorcerer, which made me
proud. Well, if I think of more. I'll post. LOL, Tam
