It has come to my attention that Grouply is back in action again. I
want to remind all members of just what Grouply wants and is. Grouply
is a supposed email service, that reputes to allow you to have all
your group mail in one place. What they don't tell you until you join
is that they want you to give them your passwords and usernames so
that they can gain access to the group. Once in the group they have
complete access to the members database as well as the owners
settings and they can change the group purpose or make themselves
owners or mods at will and there is nothing that can be done about
it. Also once you join Grouply, they begin to spam the group with
invites to join them in your name. From what I've heard from other
groups that spam can be anything from Porn to virus laden mail. When
you first join Grouply you are given an @grouply.com email addy, then
you are allowed to go back to your original email address making it
almost impossible to find out who joined and sent the original
invite. The only way to find out is to see the original email with
the person's name or user name on it, then and only then can they be
removed and banned from the group. I have opted our group out of
Grouply some time ago but with this fresh initiative against Yahoo,
MSN and Google groups I felt that for the newer members of our group
that the owners and mods stance on Grouply is that any member joining
Grouply will be removed and banned immediately without any chance of
rejoining the group.
According to Grouply any attempt by the group owners to block members
joining them will not be welcome.
I want to remind you that anyone joining Grouply and giving them your
username and password is not only in breach of group policy but also
in breach of Yahoo's Terms of Service in regards to group security.
So be a leader not a follower and don't let Grouply and their spam
wielding minions coerce you into joining.
Sorry the link I provided for you doesn't work. I can't seem to get a
link from ebay that will work. But if you go to ebay.com, and go to
the search bar and type in Fleetwood Mac 2004 Calendar, it should come
up. My seller name is steviefan79! Sorry about the trouble.

I still have to go over my inlaws to watch this, because we don't have
the PBS HD, but they did, and recorded for me. They don't know how to
put it on tape, from their recording, so I'll have to go over there to
see it. It's probably something very simple. They can program their TV
to record a program to watch later, but they don't know how to get on
tape for me. Any suggestions would be great. Tammie

Hey guys I just got my copy of Q Magazine (UK) at Borders, and it was
well worth it. Great pictures, and awesome article. Not the same stuff
over again. It's out now, so don't wait.

Hi Christine. Yes, I've seen her live 3 times, and Fleetwood Mas 1. I'm
she's comes around my way. She's in Ohio a couple places, but it's
still much of a drive, so she's gotta come closer.
As for my favorites songs...Sara and Rhiannon are tied. I like
Sorceror, Angel, Gold Dust Woman, Storms, That's Alright, etc. Anything
she did on the Fleetwood Mac White album, Rumours, Tusk, and Mirage.
Anything after that, I pick and choose. That also goes for her solo
work. My favorite solo are: Bella Donna, Wild Heart, and Trouble in
Shangr-la. I also adore the Buckingham Nicks album. I could go on, and
on. Well, good chatting with you. Feel free to jump right in anytime.
LOL, Tammie

Hi there. Good to have you back. Sorry, I'm from Ohio. Hope you can
meet some fellow Stevie fans. It's awesome when you do. Anyone think
there's any hope for Stevie to come to Blossom, Chevy Center, etc.
Ohio? Tammie

Fleetwood Mac Plots Return -- With Or Without Crow
Fleetwood Mac
March 25, 2008, 2:25 PM ET
Gary Graff, Detroit
Fleetwood Mac -- with or without Sheryl Crow in tow -- is planning to
be active again.
Singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham -- who's just released a new
concert DVD,
"Live at the Bass Performance Hall," from his 2006-07 solo tour --
tells Billboard.com that the group is "looking at the idea of touring
sometime in the first half of 2009," possibly with some new material
to play.
In recent weeks Crow, who's friendly with Mac's Stevie Nicks, has
talked about joining the band, which Buckingham acknowledges is a
possibility, though he adds, "I don't think anything is written in
stone yet."
"I think we were all a little surprised (Crow) was announcing that to
the world with such certainty," Buckingham says with a laugh. "We
have talked about the possibility of bringing another woman into the
scene to kind of give Stevie a sort of foil and shake it up a little
bit. (Crow) was certainly a name that has come up. We'll have to see."
Nicks has been the group's sole female member since Christine McVie
retired from the band in the late '90s. Buckingham says that he
has "a ton of new stuff" that could be used for a new Fleetwood Mac
album, though he adds that he might want to step back from the
production role he's had in the band.
"I don't think I want to produce again 'cause it takes so much," he
explains. "Whatever happens we'll all sit in a room and make
something work as a group. a little more like we used to, sort of try
to open it up and get everyone sharing the activity a little more."
Buckingham, meanwhile, is also planning another solo album -- the
follow-up to 2006's "Under the Skin" -- for this summer. Recorded
with members of his touring band as well as Mick Fleetwood and John
McVie, it "has a little more of a rock feel to it" than "Under the
Skin," according to Buckingham. "It's just another group of tunes
that hopefully will translate to stage, and hopefully we can get some
more (solo) dates this summer."
Formerly signed to Reprise, Buckingham says he's a "free agent" now,
without a label deal as a solo artist. "We're gonna figure out who
wants to put it out," he says of the as-yet untitled album. "I'm
keeping an open mind. People need to hear the music and we'll see
what they think and what the best situation for it will be."
Sheryl Crow to join Fleetwood Mac
Thursday, 13 March 2008
By Steve Baltin
Spinner (New York)
March 13, 2008
Move over Stevie: Sheryl Crow is planning to join Fleetwood Mac.
"We definitely have plans for collaborating in the future, and we'll
see what happens," Crow tells Spinner. As to when fans might hear
those collaborations, she says, "I think that's going to be next
year."
And what songs would she ideally like to perform onstage with Stevie
Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham? "I'd love to do 'The Chain' and 'Second
Hand News,'" she says. "There's so many great songs that I absolutely
love, and just to get to sing harmonies on them is going to be a
thrill."
For Crow, who is just beginning to tour in support of her recently
released 'Detours' album, the opportunity to join the legendary group
(and fill the shoes of Christine McVie, who retired from touring in
1998), is a chance to work with her close friend Nicks. Perhaps more
important, it will help keep the band alive, as Nicks had previously
gone on record as saying she was unwilling to carry on Fleetwood Mac
without McVie, who had been one of the constants of the often-
evolving group since she joined in the early '70s...
I was wondering, if I could get anyone to be a co-moderator, but
basically, do most of the work. I don't have the time anymore with
twins. Please, if your interested, please post. Thank you, Tammmie

Sorry, about not getting back to you. I did get my tickets, but like
the day before the show. That whole week was a crazy time for me,
with the Fouth of July. Wish we could've worked out something, so we
could meet, but I didn't have time. I don't think I even got on the
computer the day before and the day of the concert. Anyway, I hope
you had an awesome time. Did you buy anything? I spent $95.00. I'm
crazy aren't I? I wish I could've bought that poster with Stevie
wearing the feather thing. Errr...no such luck. Here's my review that
I posted on the Enchanted Fan Listing...
I was there. Stevie blew me away. There was times I thought she'd cut
short a note, like in Edge Seventeen for an example, but she'd hit it
and then some. I was, so excited that she'd hold notes, so long. I've
only been able to see her four other times, but this time was my
favorite. I really loved, Gold Dust Woman. All the little differences
from Stevie, and the music, at times, makes it, so exciting to me.
Every performance from her always is different, never boring. I liked
the end of Gold Dust Woman. I was excited to hear, Still of the Night
and If Anyone falls in love, because I never heard those at a
concert. I've heard them live on CD, but not at a show. So, that was
a plus. I was pissed that this woman distracted me, in the next
section (I was in 221), because she was getting handcuffed, at the
end of, Still of the Night. Stevie was in a trance twirling a shawl
around her head, over an over. That sng is not one of my favorites,
but I appreciate it.
I gotta bring this up. Did I really see a person dressed up in a full
bird suit at the walk for Edge of Seventeen? Sorry, if you were the
one wearing it, but people were laughing their asses off. I didn't
know what to make of it. I just sat there is shock. It looked like
Stevie was taken back a minute, if that's what I saw. My vision isn't
the best anymore, and I'm only 29. Anyway, I was thinking Stevie has
probably seen just about everything, but that bird suit probably made
the list. What was that?
My boyfriend went with me. I've converted him. He has said he'd
wished he had gotten into her music earlier in life. He's in no way
as crazy into Stevie as me, but he's doing good. He always likes
Dreams, Rhiannon, and I saw him rockin to Sorcerer, which made me
proud. Well, if I think of more. I'll post. LOL, Tam

Hi Andrea. Long time. Very long time. How are you? I've had twins,
since I last spoke with you. LOL. Well, if all goes good, I'm supposed
to be "hooked up" with some tickets for that show. Todd told a guy who
is a sales rep., at the store he manages, to see what he could come up
with. This sales rep. is also a friend, so it will probably come
through. I'll let you know, if I'll be there. Good to hear from you.

Enchanted Mailing List had these sneak peeks of the new Stevie Calendar
being made. Makes me feel better about sending the money for one.
Thanks for posting these. A big sigh of relief. LOL, Tam
P.S. I posted the pictures in the group's album called, "Calendar", or
was it "Sneak Peeks". I forget. You'll figure it out. Tam
Wow!!! I collect vinyl. I'd love to get one. Thanks for the info. LOL,
