Hope you're all having a pleasant spring! Steve Brown and I had a blast
last weekend at the New England Folk Festival teaching and selling bones.

I just wanted to add a note here that my band, the Jethros, is having a CD
release concert on Friday night, May 1st, here in New Bedford, MA. The
lineup is (more or less) bass, guitar/banjo, trumpet/trombone, and (yours
truly) fiddle/bones. My stage name, in fact, is Boney Jethro. I know it's
too far for most of you on such short notice, but if you're in Southeastern
Mass. or Rhode Island, please consider coming out -- I promise it will be
fun! Let me know if you're actually thinking of attending, and I'll send
you directions and hold you a ticket.
