Re: [rhythm bones] rhythm bone instruction   Message List

Thanks for joining the rhythm bones group, AZ. The best place to learn in my
opionion is from some one else who knows how to play. If you don't know any
one in your area and you would like to see if there is someone in your area,
let me know and I'll check the rhythm bones society member list for possible
contacts. If there isn't any one around, second best would be a video
instruction tape or audio tape or cd. There are several video tapes of
instruction including: Mel Mercier's Bodhran and Bones tape, Tommy Hayes:
Bodhran, Bones, and Spoons, and the Percy Danforth Bones Instructional
Video. These tapes are available from some of the mail order catalogs like
Andy's Front Hall, Lark in the Morning, and Elderly Music. Andy's Front Hall
also has an audio cd of Percy Danforth available. See if these suggestions
might help, Any one out there have any other suggestions? Take Care Steve
Brown
