Hello all and Happy New Year!!

This year has been another rite of passage for the TaKeTiNa teacher
training community and all of you who are connected to it.
We completed the second TaKeTiNa rhythm teacher training in Clackamas,
OR. 17 teachers participated in their exams , which involves leading a
rhythm circle with regular folks who come to participate. The process
also involves self-scrutiny-- very personally challenging. The
students remarked that they were surprised at the vast amount of
learning that they experienced, watching their fellow students guiding
people in rhythm .

Later in October, the Advanced TaKeTiNa teachers took their exams.
Eight candidates participated, and many people came to the circles to
share in this celebration of learning. The teachers succeeded in
guiding groups in rhythm. All of the teachers are at an advanced
level!

So what's coming! ???
As some of you may already know there is another US ( the 3rd) TaKeTiNa
rhythm teacher training that will begin in October of 2005-- with
introductory workshops in Boston and Palo Alto.
If you think that rhythm may be your path and would like to go into a
deep study of instruments, voice, and yourself, this training may be
for you! If you do not have a brochure and would like to receive one, I
will be happy to send it to you. Just let me know.

If you are considering this training, I am happy to receive your
application now. There are already quite a few enquiries from
Australia, as well as Europe and all throughout the US. And the
applications are arriving too! This part of my work is very exciting.
I meet each of you individually by phone or e-mail and hear your
excitement, hopes and fears, and the mysterious attraction to learn
TaKeTiNa . It is a real honor to be part of this with you.

SPRING WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:

SPECIAL THEME: Rhythm and Trance
This TaKeTiNa workshop Rhythm and Trance can provide an extraordinary
rhythm-experience. Participants will be the given necessary preparation
to be guided into a nine-hour rhythm journey. As the leaders continue
to lead the circle, participants are invited to alternate between
activity and rest. This enables people, whether musically trained or
not, to stay in an intense rhythmic/musical field for many hours
without overexertion. The archetypal experience of timelessness opens
the door to our inner self.

charge for the event and all are welcome.
NORTHWEST (PORTLAND, OR): Thursday evening April, 7th a "Rhythm for
Evolution" Concert with the Flatischlers. Friday April 8th -10
TaKeTiNa workshop at Smith Memorial Hall, Portland State University.
The organizer is Niki Doering, ndiam@hotmailcom. There will be an
informal discussion regarding TaKeTiNa and the training on the evening
of April 9th, at the same location. There is no charge for the event
and all are welcome.
SF BAY AREA (PALO ALTO , CA): Thursday evening April 14th-- Special
Event! Rhythm for Evolution concert and TaKeTiNa demonstration with the
Flatischlers. Friday April 15-17th TaKeTiNa workshop at the Woman's
Club House, Palo Alto, CA. The organizer Zorina Wolf,
zorina@.... On Saturday evening, April 15th, there
will be an informal discussion regarding TaKeTiNa and the next
training. There is no charge for the event and all are welcome.


The workshop schedule for this year gives those interested two weekend
opportunities to speak with Reinhard and Cornelia (and their students)
about this three year training. For those of you who would like to
simply experience TaKeTiNa, you are welcome too!

EXCITING EVENT FOLLOWS THE WORKSHOP IN PALO ALTO IN OCTOBER!
1. Monday, October 10th, Two Advanced teachers will lead two sets...
one during the morning, and one in the afternoon for their continuing
studies as advanced teachers. You will receive a discount if you
attended the workshop the weekend before.
2. Wednesday October 12- Saturday October 15th , you are invited to
attend ( for free) the continuing education sessions for TaKeTiNa
teachers throughout the US, Australia and Europe. Teachers will be
coming from 4 continents to continue to learn under the guidance of
Reinhard and Cornelia Flatischler. Take part in a circle, led by the
students as they are being guided by Reinhard and Cornelia! Very
exciting and worthwhile..
