Re: [rhythmxchange] Thoughts about Names

Hi all. I think what we are doing is responding to change, which is
always difficult. Consensus is hard with a large group that come
together mainly for parties. I think we all want a safe, fun place to
express our creativity amongst friends. A community that benefits many
people with socialization and friends and music and nourishment of all
kinds.

My reaction to changing the name,
At first I was not happy, but when I thought about it, it didn't seem
like such a big problem, and maybe even an opportunity to participate
in the change that was not our choice. Sometimes we get much less input
in life changes.

I thank Bob for taking the helm, and trying to steer this boat. I hope
everyone that wants to have input will make suggestions for names, vote
on line, tell a friend you know who doesn't have email and send a note
to vote for them, etc.

This group is important to a lot of people. I hope we continue to iron
out the kinks in a way that keeps people joining and showing up and
being a loving community.

My best to all,
Karen U.

All I can do is put it out there.  It's regretful that some messages
are missed.  I hope this is affirming that I'm doing what I can as the
communications hub.  You may also notice that I am not restricting
messages just to my own these days.  What we decide to do as a group
belongs to the group, informal and chaotic as it may be.

Peace,
Bobby G.

If you aren't pleased with the process, or you have a better
suggestion, please let me know by this coming weekend.  Thanks.
