Who Are We?
Well, the answer to who we really are isn't going to be a single
email message, but this one is about thanking all of you who attended
Monday night's Drum Amoeba at the Peninsula
Yacht Club (formerly a drum circle, drum octagon, and last month...it
was a drum "L").
It was a sweet little Valentine's Day party, with great food and
treats, and some of the best drumming I've heard from the group. And it was great to see the wonderful people who are rarely with us but
made a point of being at this special night. Thanks to
all!

5. What is your choice for our new name?
Last night's runoff between RhythmXplorers and Peninsula Pulse resulted in a landslide for Peninsula Pulse. It reflects the flow of lifeblood from and to the heart of us all!
Mainly it's clear that as a group we want different and sometimes
opposite things for our activities together. It's wondrous that
we have found a way to be together, enjoy and give space for the
desires of others. I ask you to think about that, and about what
it means when we're playing, feasting, communicating...in all
things.

Next month, Fern will take us on an exploration of Frame Drums,
also at the Yacht Club. Put it on your calendar for March
14.
And look for a new mailing list and website to reflect our new
name very soon.
Your pulsemeister,
Bobby G
