I, too, lost my chance to meet Bret. However, it wasn't because of a cancelled
meet and greet or anything to do with the band. It was because of the jackasses
that were working at AmSouth. They refused to let me backstage, said the passes
were no good. Wouldn't let me explain how I got them from knac or anything.
Just yelled at us and told us we had to leave. I am not hurt and upset. I am
freakin' angry as hell. I saw the posting on the will call window. Bret's meet
and greet was cancelled due to the recent equipment fire and a pending 22 hour
drive to NY for a VH1 taping. Plus, Poison didn't know what equipment was
destroyed of theirs until they got to Nashville, and they had to rent the sound
system locally. So they were all on edge and running wild all day long.
Totally understandable. And the last line of the posting about the cancellation
said that the passes would be replaced with passes to meet him at his solo show
in Nashville. So they didn't totally lose out.
I didn't get replacement passes, nor did those freaking jerks let me backstage
to meet Bret and get my signed cd. I had to walk away with 2 good
passes~~~UNUSED!!!! I have calmed down slightly, but I am still totally pissed
and trying to find a way to get the autographed cd I was promised. I don't even
give a shit about meeting them any more. It wasn't worth being treated like
that. Fuck them!!!! I am human!!
