This Friday - Mike Slocombe of Monochrome Set DJs at HDIF in Brixton!

Hello!

We're very pleased to be back once again at the Canterbury Arms for another
HDIF in Brixton. Guest DJ this time around is Mike Slocombe (Monochrome
Set), and I'll be playing some Sufjan Stevens songs for all those who
couldn't get tickets for his Barbican show.

Indie song of the week: What Went Wrong This Time by The Siddeleys
Soul song of the week: I Need You by Shane Martin

Plus!

Next week is our next HDIF Presents show at the Windmill. It's on Thursday
November 9th, and stars Francois, Amida, The Steadies, and The Darlings, and
tickets are a fiver. Please come along - it's going to be a brilliant night.
Tickets are onsale from here - http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk/hdiflive.html

And!

Tickets for NYE are the Windmill are selling fast. Guest DJ is Darren
Hayman, we run from 7pm-3am, and admission is ten pounds. Tickets are onsale
from here - http://www.wegottickets.com/event/13150

Also!

There's been another review of the HDIF compilation, this time in the French
music monthly Magic. "Ce disque est san doute le meilleure introduction a la
pop de demain, dčou qučelle soit, pourvu qučelle reste dotee dčun petit
supplement dčame," they declared. Hurrah! You can buy the compilation from
us at http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk/shop.html - and read the rest of our
reviews here - http://www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk/press.html

And that's about it. I've added a couple of new guides to the Indie Travel
Guide - Hamburg and Perth - which takes us up to 29 cities. Very exciting.
If you'd like to write a guide to your city - I'd especially love someone to
do an indie guide to Paris - then please get in touch. Meanwhile, the Indie
Travel Guide is here - http://www.indietravelguide.com

Don't forget that Beirut are making their UK live debut this week at the
Roundhouse, supporting Calexico. Should be amazing...!

See you on Friday I hope.
Ian x
