FOSL Presents "LIES AND TALL TALES"November 7th @ 8PM, Shepherdstown's Men's Club, German Street, Shepherdstown WV
On Election Night, November 7, the Friends of the Shepherdstown Library (FOSL) will present an evening of great tales presented by local storytellers. They will compete for election as the town's "Biggest Liar". All who attend the program will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites. The event will take place at 8:00 p.m. at the Shepherdstown Men's Club.
Storytellers will include Adam Booth, Ethan Fischer, Clissy Funkhouser, Nina Geiger, Jay Hurley, Carlos Niederhauser, Peter Wilson, and Ed Zahniser. Others may throw their hats in the ring by Election Day. Along with the lies and tall tales, the evening will feature piano music by Sam Janotta.
Beer and wine will be available for a donation. Admission will be $10 for FOSL members and $12 for others. Tickets are currently on sale at the library or may be purchased at the door. Seating is limited, so advance purchases are recommended. All proceeds will support Shepherdstown Library programs.
Local attorneys, Frank Hill, Andrew Arnold and Davitt McAteer have gamely consented to sponsor "Lies and Tall Tales."
