CON & CASH bring a little "Nashville" to The Blue Moon Cafe

Con Burch is destined for stardom, not only because of her songwriting, but also because of her singing.  And, Reba McIntyre doesn't know it yet, but Con Burch has a hit for her!  Unless, of course, Burch makes the charts with it herself, first.

Burch's incredible voice is the perfect example of what one would expect from a quintessential Nashville star.  Her writing is simple and elegant and goes straight to your heart.  Her song "Maybe Someday" is a show stopper, and according to producer Cheryl Mansley, "if everyone isn't humming that song someday, something's wrong!"

Sunday, May 13 at 7pm, Con & Cash will be in concert at the Blue Moon Cafe's "Blue Moon Sundays" Concert Series in Shepherdstown, WV.  Con & Cash features Con Burch on vocals, Michael Thomas Cash on vocals and guitar, and Doug Arthur on stand-up bass.  The band has a fantastic sound with great harmonies and performs acoustic folk/country originals, as well as classics from the 60s and 70s.  They move easily from "toe tapping" songs with that "feel good beat" to mezmerizing songs that cast a hush over the room.

Con and Cash are both performing songwriters known for their original material. Their voices blend beautifully and it's obvious they love what they're doing.  They met in 2005, realized they should pursue their careers together, and now perform at cafes, clubs, and festivals, as well as private events.  And this year, they teamed up to do a dinner show in tribute of Patsy Cline.  Now, a Jim Croce tribute is in the works.

Admission for this show is $10/person at the door.  Doors open at 5:30pm, dinner is served from 6:00 to 7:00pm, and music starts at 7:00pm.  At each show the Blue Moon offers a special menu of "mouth watering" appetizers, entrees, and desserts.  Beer and wine are also available.  Visit the Blue Moon on Sunday evenings.  Hear some great music, eat some delicious food, and make some new friends!

Dinner reservations, with show to follow, may be made by calling the Blue Moon Cafe at 304-876-1920.  The Blue Moon Cafe is located on North Princess Street, at the corner of Princess and High in Shepherdstown WV.  For more information, contact Cheryl Mansley at 304-702-0554 or bluemoonsundays@....  Or, visit the Blue Moon website at www.bluemoonshepherdstown.com.
