Hi All,
It's been ages but Rich's post well you know it has to get a RCB fan
going. Of course the hope is always for horns, preferably the
Memphis
variety. All I can say is that I still listen to the "old"
stuff....recorded years ago but it still moves me every time. Where
to
start? Anything from Same & A Sin, Sweet Potato Pie, Some Rainy
Morning, Bad Influence, Who's Been Talkin'. Yeah I love the old
stuff
because it still works. There is always a wish list...I still
haven't
heard "Move A Mountain" live and that is an ongoing wish but Shiver,
Will You Think of Me, Phone Booth, Bad Influence...never get old.
Our last RCB show was Poughkeepsie and we're lucky to have tickets to
tomorrow night's Albany show. It's a hike up there but the venue is
excellent and perfect for the RCB. The crowd is usually well behaved
and there for the show....a rarity for concerts.
I have to mention our dear friend Dave Draper....we can not go to a
RCB
show without missing Dave....his smiling face and always warm
welcome.
Dave we can't hear "Ace of Spades" without expecting to see you...you
are missed my friend.
So Rich....thanks for starting the thread.....my hope is for some old
school RCB....it still works.
Emily
