Hello, friends-- Happy May Day and Blessed Beltane to those who
celebrate, and a happy warm, gorgeous spring day to all!

There are a lot of events happening this month, beginning with the
Black Women's Arts Festival this weekend. I sang at The Rotunda in
Philadelphia for this festival a couple of years ago-- it is a
powerful and empowering event. I definitely encourage all to check
out this growing festival-- things are happening in various Philly
venues from Thursday 'til Sunday.
