What's up with Robin Renée?

Hello, my friends! I've just been asked by curator Tricia Fagan to
perform at a very cool event-- In conjunction the Dangerous Women
Two art exhibit at Mercer County Community College, I will be
performing a new work to honor Beatrice Wood (1893-1998), the
dynamic and spiritual ceramicist, actress, artist, and Dada muse.
This will be a unique performance with a lot of other diverse
artists. I have a feeling that denizens of the New Brunswick music
scene from back in the day will especially like this one.

Wednesday, October 3rd 7-9pm
Dangerous Performing Women Caberet

-- w/ a host of other performers. In conjunction with the Dangerous
Women Two exhibition at the Gallery @ MCCC. Artwork created by
contemporary artists to honor women artists and activists from the
past.

The following Saturday will be my first time singing for Polyamorous-
NYC's Poly Pride Day. I'll be performing a half-hour or so set on a
beautiful day in Central Park. All are welcome-- Please bring a
picnic and come hang out!

In other news, I had a ton of fun this summer singing with The
Mutant Mountain Boys on 8/25 at DEVOtional 2007 at Beachland
Ballroom in Cleveland, OH. Lead vocalist and banjo player Samantha
from Tucson, AZ arranged our set of bluegrass-flavored Devo covers.
Yep. I'm a total geek! :-)
