Hello to everyone from the TikiTown Studios in Mill Valley, CA! I had an
AMAZING adventure on Wednesday (5/22/02) that I must share. My producer,
Scott Mathews is a friend of my hero of heroes, ELVIS COSTELLO, and Elvis and
band, The Imposters performed at the Berkeley Community Theatre. "Incredible
show" goes without saying, IMO, but the most wonderful thing was having the
opportunity to talk with EC and keyboardist Steve Nieve backstage. WOW! I
realized one of my greatest fantasies- to be introduced to people I admire so
greatly as an artist, rather than just another goofy groupie (Of course I'm
totally that, too, but I managed to contain myself :-) I can't even begin
to explain the admiration I have for EC and all of his bands' incarnations
and the depth of his influence on so much of the music I love. Check out the
attached pics. One is of Steve Nieve and me; the other is not a great photo,
unfortunately, but shows EC, me, Steve (Scott Mathews and drummer Pete Thomas
are pretty hard to see). I believe someone has a better copy of that shot,
so I am on the lookout.


The recording sessions have been going so well- We're in mixdown now. I am
hoping to make the new CD available ASAP. I'm pretty sure it will be called
"All Six Senses." Here is the track listing (order may change):
