At the height of our disembodied digital era, two robots come disguised as girl-humans to deliver their electrofunkrock message to humanity.
Sue Denim and Dee Plume are Robots In Disguise. In their role as modern punkettes, Robots In Disguise sing and shout, play guitars and solo on school instruments joined for their live shows by fantastic drummer Ann Droid. Sounds like Siouxsie Sioux meets Chicks On Speed and The Slits at a robopunk convention.
RiD have released 3 albums to critical acclaim.....
R.I.D's 'DJ's Got A Gun' brought a whole load of aggro to the discotheque. 'Turn It Up' was an underground indie hit!
'Get RID' ripped up dance and bedroom floors all over UK, Europe and..er.. the world!
'We're In The Music Biz' sounds like the city it was recorded in - Berlin - dark, adult and full of rhythmic sexiness!
Sue and Dee are back in London and are currently writing and recording their 4th album with Yo Majesty and Death In Vegas producers David Alexander and Tim Holmes.
Album 4 is set for release later this year.

But for those who can't wait for the album - RiD are releasing new single 'Wake Up' this April - written for cosmetics company Barry M's 'Wake Up Your Make Up' campaign - they have a fantastic pop art video and their very own product - Robot Blue lipstick (as featured in the video!) - to go with the song!!!! RiD will be doing a live UK tour to go with the single!
