Not sure if any of you cats are in the North Wales area but I'm
starting a new club on Anglesey, a place Planet Jive calls a rock-n-
roll desert, and how right they are. Well, on Sunday 16th November with
a bit of support I'm gonna plant a little rock-n-roll oasis in the
middle of that desert. Gotta break the locals in gently though, so
first night we've got The Alicats from Liverpool doin' straight
commercial rock-n-roll, with Billy Martin watering it down a bit with
some Mersey memories and yours truely belting out the hot rockin'
rockabilly. Hey Duffie if you listen hard enough you might just catch
the tunes drifting across The Irish Sea.

Hello Mike,
I am kinda new here, too, lol
I came on Rockabillyradio, to listen on Mondays
to the "weekly Jamboree" because I know "Jumping Jack"
the emcee, personally, %(Marcel and The Truly Lover Trio) lol
Who plays some great Roy Orbison, music. lol
And was very much surprised at all the other wonderfull Rockabilly
music. So, I am happy,
Billie
Hi gang new to the group and the station. What a gas, real music and
love the mix of original rockabilly and the newer bands on the scene.
I've done a couple of gigs in The States and was getting a bit
dissolutioned with what they were calling Rockabilly over the pond,
i.e. The Cramps and sundry punk bands, but this station is a breath of
fresh air. Keep up the good work.
