Dave if you search the archives, there has been 2 other times that I
considered ending this group, but when I searched the web, I found
nothing better for the members. This time I did. Contest or no
contest, I would recommend this site to people. Also, I posted that
if anyone wanted this group I would consider handing it over. You
could've asked, but you would rather tell me that it is interesting
that there is a contest at a site....hmmmm. Over the years I have
well over 1000 hours a year running this group and I intend to give
its members the best option for a guitarist community when I close it.
You can feel anyway that you want about the contest, the truth is
that it is the best guitar community online right now and it is free
to you. You have the right to also join the contest. I laid claim to
inviting members because this is my group and I am the one closing
it. I would be inviting and encouraging all here to join with or
without the conest.
