Description

Rock'n'Roll Scars is a mailing list for people interested in Australasian (i.e. Australian and New Zealand) pop, rock and progressive music. Our specific focus is the period from 1964 to 1975, but we're open to other relevant music-related discussions, eg different genres and other years from those decades.

This period includes classic Australian/NZ bands and artists such as The Easybeats, The Masters Apprentices, The Twilights, Tamam Shud, Spectrum, Ariel, Russell Morris, Axiom, Max Merritt The Meteors, Zoot, Daddy Cool and The Loved Ones and many more - but the list is open for discussion of any aspect of Aussie/Kiwi music.

Please read and absorb the group rules here. Nothing drastic; we just like netiquette and consideration for other members.

If you haven't already been there, please visit MILESAGO, our website devoted to Australasian music and popular culture 1964-75.

John Farnham Raindorps TV Appearance with live vocal
As in the topic, this is from 1970 and interestingly he is singing a live vocal over the original backing track which has had the studio vocal removed.
