If you own or use a Boss Dr. Rhythm Section DR-5 then this is the place for you. Here you can get help from fellow users of a great machine. The discussion here is not limited to the use of the DR-5. Messages on any related subject, such as home recording, live performance, music software, MIDI etc. are welcome.

If you have a question it is probably worth using the Search facility to check the archives first. A lot of ground has been covered and a lot of questions have already been answered in previous posts. If you need a manual you can download one from the Roland web site. There is also a FAQ.

Does the DR5 send midi clock?
Hi i use my dr5 to sequence a roland SH201. the sh201 responds and will play the sequence but the arpeggio on the sh201 wont respond to the tempo of the dr5,
