The "DR5Edit" software is available from www.rubicsys.demon.co.uk/paul/dr5.htm

This software is what really makes the DR5 a valuable instrument for me. You
can do everything with the computer mouse, create kitsa/patterns/songs, you can
see or print kits/patterns/song sequences. You can manage the DR5 memory,
backup/restore/catalog songs. I could go on and on. Get it.

I have four DR5 units, but I wouldn't have kept even the first one if it
weren't for the software.

I've copied the dr5edit software to a new laptop. With the test button
I get the "connection working ok" message, but when I try to download
from the DR-5 I get "check digit" errors; the kits download but no
songs or patterns. Can anybody help?
