DR5edit system requirements

Hi I'm the fng -I am a long time user of the DR5 and am considering
the DR5 Edit software. My question is will it work with simply a USB
to MIDI interface cable/driver or do I need more? (e.g.-sound card,
joystick cable, etc...? TIA
