Re: [Rolling The Ball] Re: Hi Everyone!

Hey Aidan,

Here is a web site with a lot of Kate Bush mp3
http://www.negativebeats.com/k/kate_bush/
It does not have "You Want Alchemy" on it, but it may have some things you may
be looking for.

Regarding favorite tacks: Those are some good ones. Hammer is one of my
favorites.

I have "I Want to be Kate" and the Jemma Price albums. They are okay. Have you
heard of the band called Within Temptation? They did a cover of one of Kate's
songs....Running up that Hill. Very nice. Here is the U tube site to see and
hear it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4HsgjpbBPnQ

"The Dreaming" is one of my favorite albums. I love to turn it up loud and
take it in. Very coll and a little chilling. "Night of the Swallow" gives me the
feeling of flying. Did you know there is some backmasking on that album? Very
clever of Kate and her group.

Hobbes,

Your idea of having a variety of kate bush covers on one cd is a good one.
There have been so many covers done you can pick the best ones and create a
really good collection.

Previous cover attempts (e.g. 'I Wanna be Kate' or Jemma Price's tribute
album) haven't been the best (or so I've read on the net - I have never
heard 'I Wanna be Kate'). I have a few mp3's of some of Kate's songs being
covered, so if you want some for your compilation - do tell!

RE: Favourite track...
It IS hard to choose; and I have been asked that often. I think my most
common answers are:
Hammer Horror
December will be Magic Again
Sat in Your Lap
Never Be Mine

And as you said, depending on what mood you are in...

I think all of Aerial disc II is good for early mornings too ;) Or late
night walks for that matter... in fact any quiet moment. But The Dreaming is
not really the kind of album you listen to to relax, but rather to WAKE UP.
Sort of like audio-caffeine.

ALSO I only recently got my hands on Kate's B-Side to Moments of Pleasure:
'Show a Little Devotion' ... which is post-woman's work boxed set; it's
growing on me, so maybe it will make my favourite list one day. :)

Now the only B-side I have never heard is 'You Want Alchemy' which I am
desperatly searching for (so if anyone wants to send an mp3 to aidan.mccloryAT
gmail.com it would be greatly appreciated) ;)

Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in
