Some guitars made or being made in my basement.

Current projects are a korina/maple LP style and a traditional mahogany/maple LP style.
For the Korina, the back and neck are white korina (aka limba... from Africa). Top is bookmatched northern maple (just a hint of flame).
Fretboard is cobote (mexico) and the headstock veneer is some really nice ebony.
Tuners and tail assembly will be Schaller, pickups will be Lindy Fralin PAF types.

Finish will be a sort of tobacco burst...

The mahogany/maple guitar will pretty much follow the style of Gibson's 1959 Standard. It will be a cherry sunburst with real Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, holly headstock veneer and real mother of pearl crown inlays. Pickups will be Tom Holmes or Lindy Fralins.
