You! It's about YOU, BB! Isn't it obvious???
"I come inside your heir" --- who else could that be about??
Ahem, seriously (as to avoid overtrashing everybody's inboxes -- and hey, thanks
to all the new membranes for joining up so fast! -- here I am suddenly fearing
everyone quitting this group if there's too much petty nonsense and not enough
incisive in-depth d'cussion about ME, it's all about ME, and what makes me
TICK), **I GO INTO YOUR MIND's lyrical theme was writ about no one in
particluar! Honest. Lessee, put meself back in that timeframe, uh, spring 1978,
newly relocated to Jersey... "Games and Groceries", correct? I forget. Yeh, ok,
if it was about A GIRL (and what isn't?!), it might have been that elusive
unknown Babe in the Sky, my Fantasy Queen, the token Wifeperson I Was Pursuing.
At that moment, I was pining for my old Frankfort Kentucky flame, Cathy Lyons.
Wasn't I? Yet, alas, I musta realized she was truly "too far from me" and not
really THE one. Hadn't met Margaux yet. Still missed Johna... SHIT, what am I
talking about?????????
I really think the fact is... IGIYM was NONSPECIFIC. Poetic License 101. End of
story.
lunch time,
goober
PS... you'll be happy to learn this coincidence: there's a stunning new remake
version of IGIYM on the tapedeck AS WE SPEAK. Yukio Yung UK has constructed a
brandnew mammoth basic track with hightech mellotron, symphony orchestra and
glissando harpist which will bring salty tears to your eyes. Still in progress,
so far we got a Krys O trial lead vocal recorded. Soon come, brace yourselfs.
Your brain wants.
