the way that i choke my cymbals with one hand is to leave my first and second fingers open, gripping the stick with the last two fingers leaving the thumb open...
well, i just usualy grab it with the other hand (hit with one hand grab with the other) I never got doen the ability to hit & then grab with one hand. rjh...
