I agree with you about the early Beatles...for a short time they were left
behind by Bob Dylan and others. 'Yeah, yeah, yeah', quickly became 'yeah, man'
though. Then they were in the fast lane and there was no catching them.
I love the Stones...but in a more primal way...it's basic r+b done to
perfection. Some lovely ballads too. And they did experiment, following The
Beatles excursions. Another great UK band we should be very proud of!
