It's been ages since we've been over but we've kept up-to-date with
your activity thanks to your email/press etc. That manager of yours
is doing an awesome job: CONGRATULATIONS on all your success.
We'd sent you Victoria's latest newsletter recently and noticed you'd
unsubscribed. Perhaps that was accident (sure hope so!)but I believe
you'd still like to know what's happening with her, so I'm pasting
Victoria's news here:
In March 2003, Victoria joined forces with US production team, THE
RUST BROTHERS made up of Addison Steel (songwriter/producer/artist);
Bill Bruce (award-winning guitarist); and Guy Babylon (Grammy-winning
producer of Elton John's AIDA.
Notables on this project, which will be co-produced by Guy Babylon in
LA, include Elton John musicians, along with Joe Chemay, Jim Ritchie,
and drummer Kenny Aronoff , famous for his work with John Mellencamp.
In short, Victoria's next cd will be a 'world-class' production and
Victoria is very excited about both the music and the people behind
the project.
Victoria is co-writing all the material with Addison, Bill, and John
Mitchell, a remarkably-talented songwriter. And yes, it's country...
but with a twist that's thoroughly innovative and very exciting.
Needless to say, we are very grateful to Addison for his belief that
Victoria is worth the considerable investment he is putting into
financing this project in his bid to create "a legend". As Addson
told us, he's "been looking for a Victoria for over 6 years" and he
believes "she is the full package".
We can't wait for the recordings to be finished and the team is
moving at a great pace. We'll let you know when it's ready and if
you'd like to sign back up for Victoria's newsletter, you can do so
from her home page on her website at http://www.victoriaboland.com
All the best Rustie, and who knows...maybe you and Victoria will be
meeting somewhere in the US in the future as it looks like she'll be
spending more time down there than here! She already is!
