Early years
As a boy, Booth showed his talent by winning a contest in New Port
Richey, Florida (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Port_Richey,_Florida ) for playing
guitar at age 14. After high school, he attended the University of New
Mexico ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_New_Mexico ) with
the intent of becoming a schoolteacher. But he decided to give music a
try, and began his music career with the Mel Savage Band (
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mel_Savage_Band&action=edit&redlink=1
). Before long, he was touring with Jimmy Snyder.
Booth's first single, "Wishful Thinkin'" (backed with "I Think I
Can") and album, Country '67 was released under the stage name "Johnny
Booth" by Universal City Records (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_City_Records ) in 1967. It
featured a cover of Engelbert Humperdinck (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engelbert_Humperdinck_(singer) )'s "There
Goes My Everything", a version of which had been released months
earlier by Ray Price (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Price_(musician) ), one of Booth's
longtime influences. The album, produced by Cliffie Stone (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliffie_Stone ), retains the vestigal
sound of Rockabilly ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockabilly ) that
Country music ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country_music ) was
moving away from at that time, ironically toward the softer sound then
being pushed by artists such as Price (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Price_(musician) ).
When his first album did not yield a chart position, Booth formed a
band called Modern Country in 1968 and performed for a time in Las
Vegas, Nevada ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas,_Nevada )
before moving to Los Angeles, California (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles,_California ). The band,
which renamed itself the Tony Booth Band, became the house band at
L.A.'s Palomino Club (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palomino_Club_(North_Hollywood) ). He cut
a single with K-Ark Records (
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=K-Ark_Records&action=edit&redlink=1
), "Big Lonely World" (backed with "It's Alright") but it also had no
chart success.
COUNTRY SUCCESS
That changed in 1970 when his first single for MGM Records (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MGM_Records ), Merle Haggard (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merle_Haggard )'s song about interracial
love, "Irma Jackson" (backed with Booth's own "One Too Many Times")
reached the charts. His band also won an Academy of Country Music (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_of_Country_Music ) award, which
they would take home for three consecutive years.
An album soon followed, On The Right Track, produced by Dusty Rhodes
(
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dusty_Rhodes_(music_producer)&action=e\
dit&redlink=1
), and in 1971 Booth won the ACM (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_of_Country_Music ) award for Most
Promising Male Vocalist. He signed with Capitol Records (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Records ) and became one of
several artists to record under Buck Owens (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck_Owens ). His first single,
"Cinderella", went midway up the charts.
Booth released two albums a year for Capitol (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Records ) between 1972 and 1974.
The first was The Key's In The Mailbox which included three hit
singles. The title track reached #1 on Cash Box, making it his
best-ranked and best-known song. The last single from the album made
it to #13, and "LOnesome 7-7203" from his next album peaked right
behind at #6.
Over the next three albums, Booth produced five more singles which
all charted. "When a Man Loves a Woman (The Way That I Love You)" made
it to #19, and the next four all made the Top 50 including a cover of
Doris Day's ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doris_Day ) hit "Secret
Love." He was also nominated for the ACM (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academy_of_Country_Music ) Male Vocalist
of the Year award in 1973.
After two singles failed to chart, Booth's cover of Jim Croce's (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Croce ) hit Workin' At The Car Wash
Blues, made it to #22 and the album of the same name won an ASCAP (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASCAP ) award in 1974. Up to that album,
his recordings for Capitol (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Records ) were largely penned by
Buck Owens ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buck_Owens ), but by that
time Owens was retreating from the music scene following the death of
his close friend Don Rich ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Rich )
and the net for Booth's material was cast wider.
LATER YEARS
Booth left Capitol ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitol_Records )
in 1975 after three more singles. He was picked up by United Artists
Records ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Artists_Records ) in
1976, and unsurprisingly left the Bakersfield sound (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakersfield_sound ) behind. The soaring
strings didn't impress the charts, although his 1977 single "Letting
Go" (backed somewhat ironically with "Nothing Seems To Work Anymore")
just barely made the Top 100.
He went on to tour in Gene Watson's (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gene_Watson ) band and played bass and
sang backup on many of his mid-1980s albums, and performed the song
"Still on the Bottle" for the movie Daddy's Dyin'... Who's Got the
Will? (1990).
Booth currently lives in Alvin, Texas (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alvin,_Texas ) with his wife and family,
and appears frequently in the band at the Alvin Opry with his brother
Larry (
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Larry_Booth&action=edit&redlink=1
). Tony Booth has also resumed touring on his own again playing mostly
in southern states such as Texas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas
) and Oklahoma ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma ).

have fun and sing along. To me, that's the most fun part, moving your
audience and fans and affecting their lives.

Picking Songs For Your CD
By
Lonnie Ratliff
This is a hard subject to tackle so I will just start out by telling
you how I find songs for the artists I produce. First off I get all
the politics out of the process. My job as a producer is to make the
very best CD or demo for the artist who is paying me as I possibly
can. It is not to talk the artist into cutting mine and my buddies
songs just so we will have another demo. I have about 400 songs that I
have collected over the years that I have a lot of faith in and about
30 Nashville songwriters that I put the word out to when I need
material so I have a pretty deep catalog to work from to begin with.
The first thing I do is ask the artist to E Mail me a list of about a
dozen or so songs they have heard in their lifetime that they wish
they had been the first one to record. This gives me a starting place
and I will then go through my pitch catalog and make up a CD of about
20 songs and send to them. On this first “Pitch” CD I do not send
them lyrics or tell them who wrote what. Not only do I take my
politics out in the beginning by sending them this blind CD they
cannot be influenced by anything other than the songs they hear.
Artist tend to want to cut songs by songwriters they have heard of and
I have also noticed they will tend to want to cut a song that I wrote
sometimes. They seem to think I may try harder on my own songs. I just
make sure they are not influenced by this by not telling them who
wrote what. This way they only listen for the best song.
As far as cutting songs by famous writers go the truth is, you as an
unknown artist, are NOT going to get the next “Hit” written by
whoever it was that wrote “Jesus Take The Wheel” . That writer
whoever it is can take his or her songs to the biggest artists in town
and get “cuts” by someone they know will make them a lot of money
so they can’t afford to tie up a song with an unknown artist. The
trick is that you have to find the songs and recognize them as
“hits” before some artist on music row does. One trick that is
good to learn is how to hear beyond the demo. Just because a girl is
singing the demo don’t mean a guy can’t record the song. If you
can just learn to hear beyond this it will give you a lot more songs
to choose from. You can also go back to the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s
and find some great songs that are album cuts on albums that had one
or two hits and eight other album cuts no one ever heard or if they
did they have long forgotten. You need to remember that Nashville was
going through their “We think we are “Pop” producers” during
this period so they will be soaked down with “Strings” and the
“Thousand Screaming Angels” background vocals. All you have to do
on your recording is drop all that trendy bells and whistles
production and replace the “A” Strings with one steel guitar track
and you can come up with a great new recording.
The one thing when it comes to songs, you will learn, is that the
better the song is to begin with the easier and cheaper it will be to
promote the record. Keep this in mind when looking for songs.

Lonnie's Featured Original Song
If This Honky Tonk Could Talk
Don't forget to "Click" underlined words
in this NEWSLETTER for more information
If This Honky Tonk Could Talk is a straight ahead honky tonk shuffle
I wrote with my pal "Gidget" Baird (
http://www.myspace.com/arlenefaith ). We wrote the song Mirror,
Mirror, (On The Wall) ( http://soundclick.com/share?songid=870539 )
several years ago but this is the first time we have attempted
anything together in a long time and I am pretty pleased with how it
turned out. The honky tonk genre is a pretty difficult format to
write in because both the music and subject parameters are pretty
limiting. You get outside of either one and you no longer have a
genuine honky tonk song. Add to this the fact that some of the
greatest songwriters in country music have been working the genre for
over fifty years. Writers like Lefty Frizzell, Harlan Howard and Hank
Cochran and many others have a heck of a head start on you and I
sometimes think they may have already laid claim to the best honky
tonk titles and storylines and let's face it when one of those master
songwriters write an idea you can pretty well bet they milked it for
all it's worth. Although we may not have gone where no one's dared to
go before in the honky tonk field I do believe we may have written
something we can be proud of. I can't help but believe if ole "Faron"
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faron_Young ) was still around he might
cut If This Honky Tonk Could Talk.

As the sun goes down and the crowd comes rolling in
The jukebox plays "I love this bar"
And we're all glad we're where we are
It's a home away from home for a few old friends
Honky tonks just don't come better than this one
Where lovers rondezvous 'neath neon lights
I've heard it said loose lips sink ships
But no one here makes any slips
Your secret's safe in the shadows of the night... But
(Chorus)
If this honky tonk could talk we'd be in trouble
This little one horse town town would spin out of control
From Peyton Place to Desparate Wives.
This honky tonk has hide the lies
Of the lucky ones who haven't yet been caught
Where'd they all be
If this honky tonk could talk

When we step into this secret world of neon lights and hardwood

We're just a step away from hell to pay behind these swingin

Getting acquainted with Red Dirt Music
"click" photos for websites
Stony Larue......................................Jason Boland & The
Stragglers ............... Cross Canadian Ragweed
____
.
Red Dirt Music gets its name from the color of soil found in
Oklahoma. Although Stillwater, Oklahoma is considered to be the
epicenter of Red Dirt music, some say there's a Texas Red Dirt sound
as well. Old school Texans and Okies alike will swear that the two
were distinctly different. Outlaws, Waylon Jennings, and Willie
Nelson, are associated with that distinctive Texas sound while Bob
Childers defines Oklahoma Red Dirt music. Childers, known as the
"Dylan of the dust" jammed to a slightly different country chord —
Red Dirt style. These days, the gap separating the two genres has
thinned.[1]
Critics say that Red Dirt can best be likened to the indie genre of
rock 'n' roll as there is no definitive sound that can be attributed
to all the bands in the movement. Most Red Dirt artists would be
classified by the music industry as Americana, folk, or alt-country,
though the range of sounds in the Red Dirt spectrum goes beyond these
genres. It has been described as a mix of folk, rock, country,
bluegrass, blues, Western swing, and honky tonk, with even a few
Mexican influences. Singer-songwriter and former Stillwater resident
Jimmy LaFave said,
"It's kind of hard to put into words, but if you ever drive down on
the (Mississippi) Delta, you can almost hear that blues sound," he
explains. "Go to New Orleans, and you can almost hear the Dixieland
jazz. Go to San Francisco, and you get that psychedelic-music vibe.
You hear the Red Dirt sound when you go through Stillwater. It has to
do with the spirit of the people. There's something different about
them. They're not Texans, they're Okies, and I think the whole Red
Dirt sound is just as important to American musicology as the San
Francisco sound or any of the rest. It's distinctly its own thing."[5]
Some define Red Dirt music as "country music with an attitude".[6]
Others say it's a state of mind as much as it is a sound - a sound
that successfully closes the gap between rock and country.[6]
Although many bands got their start in Stillwater, each band has a
distinctive sound said Brandon Jackson, guitar for the band No
Justice. "The sound is different from each band to band to band. Some
guys are more rock, some guys are more country, and there's everything
in between," Jackson said. Cody Canada, front-man for the band Cross
Canadian Ragweed said, ""It's country, folksy, it's bluesy, it's rock,
and it's just blue collar music. It's a lot about the lyrics. It's a
lot about the feeling of it. It doesn't have a label, I guess. It's
everything from Merle Haggard influence to full blown Rolling
Stones."[3]
Marc Ringwood, founder of Texas Troubadours - a website dedicated to
the sounds of Oklahoma and Texas - says, "I don’t think there is a
true way to define it. Trying to analyze it, you see that a lot of
artists carry the same influences going back to the days of Bob Wills
and Woody Guthrie (for the older artists and bands), and then you have
new guys who have followed in stride with their peers by feeding off
their influences. Red Dirt also has more of a spiritual quality within
the music. It’s more honest, and true and noncliched, like a lot of
other music we’re exposed to in major markets."[7]
When asked to define Red Dirt music in an interview with Texas
Troubadours, Red Dirt musician and Tahlequah resident Randy Crouch
said, "Well, I don't think I'd be the one who's able to define it, but
it seems to have Oklahoma values, you know how Okies are real good at
doing everything themselves, maybe a sense of independence about it.
It's natural, and honest, and about real life. You know, it's almost
like the way Woody approached music."[8]
Ben Cisneros, a writer for The 9513 - a country music blog website -
says Red Dirt is a "movement" that has managed to create an
infrastructure enabling regional success. He states that "program
directors and DJs all over Texas and Oklahoma have set up shows that
feature Red Dirt music. Not only that, but many stations in major
markets are including Red Dirt music in their regular rotation right
alongside mainstream modern country."[9]

7. What is the most personally satisfying "Gig" you have ever played

I have to say that most of my gigs are satisfying.
We were performing at a big party and during the set-up, everything
went fine. When they dimmed the lights and we started playing, we had
no power. We started checking all our equipment and everything was
fine. Once again, no power. after 45 minutes we called in the
maintenance man and he discovered that all the outlets were hooked up
to the one dimmer switch in the room. He got us a 100 ft. cord and
found another outlet and started to play. By now the people were
getting restless and the promoter was furious at us. After our first
set, he told us to get out and through the check at us. Very
embarrassing. Not the bands fault.
8. What is the most obscure CD sale and/or fan you have ever heard

I was performing in BC and I sold a CD to an elderly gentleman. Then

exchange it. I said OK.
Within five minutes he returned and asked to buy the CD that he just
returned. I said OK.
I guess he got confused because his wife originally wanted him to buy
them both. Problem solved.

Getting To Know Stan Cox
Stan Cox (Oklahoma)
www.myspace.com/standcox ( http://www.myspace.com/standcox )
1. Where were you raised up and where do you now work out of. Are
you from a large city, small town or out in the country ?
I was raised inOklahoma. I lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma, from the age
of around 8 until 2002, and we bought a home in Marietta, Oklahoma to
be close to my Mama who had cancer. Marietta is a small rural town
just South of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and North of Gainesville, Texas. Our
population is around 2,445. We have 2 stoplights, and they usually
don't work, but the folks are friendly and the schools are good.
2. Have you recorded any CD's. If so what are the titles and where
can someone buy them ?
I released my first CD in August of 2008, titled"Runnin' Down The
Road", and it is available at cdbaby.com, and lots of other internet
audio sites, like amazon.com ect, and if you want to order directly,
you can find the info on my official website at
http://www.standcox.com. My second CD will go on sale soon, and is
titled "Stan Cox, Steppin' Out", and I am working on my 3rd album,
that will hopefully be released in late fall of 2009.
3. What is your main outlet for live performances ? Nightclubs,
Festivals, Linedance Clubs,
I just love performing and grab any opportunity I can. I've spent
plenty of years in the Nightclubs, VFW's, American Legions, private
parties, and doing Concerts, and have enjoyed all of them.
4. Who would you say are your favorite country artists ? Major
Label
Gosh, I have so many favorites, that it would be hard to name just a
few, but I guess I'd have to say "George Strait", "George Jones", "Lee
Ann Womack", "Vern Gosdin", "Merle Haggard", "Asleep at the Wheel",
"Alan Jackson", "Ray Price", "Mel Tillis", "Chris Cagle", "Keith
Urban", "Brad Paisley", "Joe Diffie", "Loretta Lynn" ...and I could
just keep naming them.
5. Who would you say are your favorite country artists ?
Independent Label
I'm going to have the same problem naming my favorites here also, but
a few of them are, "Johnny Bush", "Mark Chesnutt", "Becky Hobbs",
"Darryll McCall", "Randy Michaud", "David Cline", "Joe Stampley",
"Earl Thomas Conley", "Erin Hay", "Duane Lee Proctor", "Ricky Van
Shelton", "Justin Trevino", "Silas Walker", "Hal Willis", "Gene
Watson", "Dale Watson", and the list could go on and on.
6. What is the highest profile "Gig" you have ever played ? Did you
open for Garth or The Beatles ? Play for the Queen or at the White
House
I opened for a few 'high profile' artists..some being "Jerry Reed",
"Faron Young", "Johnny Paycheck", "Hank Thompson", "Johnny Bush", and
played a few Gigs with "Hank Thompson", and "Johnny Bush", and a rodeo
with "Red Steagall". I did play a 'jam session' once around 1985-86
and met 'Garth' and a couple of his buddies, of course he wasn't the
'icon' that he is now, and I mainly remember him because he asked my
guitar player 'Sammy' to borrow his guitar and Sammy didn't want to
let aNOBODY, use his NEW guitar, and I had to talk Sammy into it, and
apologize to 'Garth'for Sammy's behavior, and then unruffle Sammy's
feathers and get him civilized again. Glad that happened now tho, if
it hadn't, I wouldn't have that story to tell, lol. Of course
nowadays Sammy is sure to tell everyone about the "night Garth Brooks
played his guitar".
7. What is the most personally satisfying "Gig" you have ever played
? Disaster benefit, Uncle Joe's 100 year birthday party, hospital,
old folks home etc!
The night I opened for Faron Young was probably the one of the most
flattering Gigs I have ever played. Faron asked me to come backstage,
and gave me some really nice compliments on my vocals, and invited me
to come on stage with his band when he did his show. It was a honor
to be introduced by the legendary Faron Young. But, the most
personally satisfying, would not actually be my 'Gig', but at a club
in the outskirts of Nashville, when my wife and I dropped in to hear
the band, and after talking to some of the band members, I was invited
on stage to do a 'couple' of songs. I started singing and the crowd
of around 300 people, just stopped dancing and gathered around the
bandstand..that was a great feeling!
8. What is the most obscure CD sale and/or fan you have ever heard
from ? Sold a CD in Russia or Got an E Mail from a soldier in Iraq
Etc!
The most obscure thing that has happened to me so far, just happened
about 3 weeks ago, and I received a letter with a check in it for
$250.00, and a small note saying "send me as many of your CD's as this
will buy--minus shipping and handling of course"....I hurried and
cashed the check (just to make sure it was real, lol) and mailed the
CD's out, although I wanted to ask, why so many? But I didn't, I just
sent my 'thanks' and tried not to be too mushy about it, haha. I did
receive a message from mega superstar "Vince Vance", about my version
of "All I Want For Christmas Is You", and he gave me a thumbs
up..."Thanks Vince Vance", you made my year.
9. What is your favorite 3 songs you have recorded and also your
favorite 3 cover tunes you sing at gigs.
I like all the songs I have recorded, but if you exclude the songs I
have written with my wife LaDanna, my fav's would have to be, "Last
Night Was One Of Those Days", "Redneck, Alabama", "Roses, Sweet
Choc'lates, and Wine"..and those are from my "Runnin' Down The Road"
CD. The songs on my upcoming album tho, are ones that could easily
become favorites also.
When I play a 'gig', I always have to include "The Other Woman",
"Don't You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me", and "Heart Over Mind"
because I get so many request for these songs from my followers.
10. What do you see on the horizon for your career in the next 12
months ? Recording a new CD or going on tour to Switzerland etc!
I hope to finish my new CD this year, and start on a Gospel album.
BONUS QUESTION BELOW
11. If you had the chance to record a duet with your favorite
artists, who would that be? Name a Male and Female.
I have always said, "If I could record a duet with a female, I would
choose"Becky Hobbs", or "Lee Ann Womack", both ladies have awesome
vocals, and I love their traditional styles. As for male duet, I have
so many that I would love to record with, but I guess my first choice
would have to be "Willie Nelson" although I'm probably about the only
one that's never recorded with him, lol, and "Gene Watson" would be at
the top of my list, and I'd have to include "Vern Gosdin", and "Johnny
Bush, Darrell McCall, and Ray Price".

NOTE from Lonnie - I always feel a little guilty because I never have
time to listen to mp3's new artists and songwriters send me,
unsolicited I might add. I hate it but I just delete them because I
finally figured out I could try to be a nice guy or I could try to
work and pay my bills. My banker had a very stern suggestion that I
needed to keep working and be a nice guy on my own time after all my
bills were paid. Turns out that spare time does not exist so I just
had to give up on listening to unsolicited mp3's, CD's and giving my
opinions and suggestions. Now I just concentrate on my music business
out of necessity but I figure I can give you some links that will
answer your questions better than I could anyway.
Here's some books available this week on EBAY

Lonnie Ratliff ~ Record Production~ 5 Songs
1. Cost for 5 songs is $3,750 (Three Thousand Seven Hundred & Fifty
Dollars). This includes Studio, Musicians, Etc! and you end up with a
mixed CD of your project. There are not a lot of hidden costs that
will be tacked on. The only additional costs I can think of would be
$150 if you want us to Master it for you before it goes to your
pressing plant. (Call me and I can explain Mastering to you) The other
thing that could cost you later is that you might have to pay
songwriter royalties if you have recorded someone elses songs and are
gonna include it on your CD to sell. (Example = If you want to record
a George Strait song or a Taylor Swift song then you will have to pay
a royalty to use that song) I can help point you in the right
direction to obtain a license from the Harry Fox Agency (
http://www.harryfox.com/public/songfile.jsp ).
2. For those artist who are new at this, Production is just about
getting your songs recorded and ready to be made into CD's that you
can sell. I don't press up the 500 or 1000 CD's for you but I can
recommend Karen Bruno at Amazon Audio ( http://www.amazonaudio.com/
)who can take care of everything for you. I believe it costs about
$1500 for a 1000 CD's. A lot of the artists I produce will cut a
couple of 5 song sessions with me and then put them together and press
up a CD they can sell and get their money back.
3. First thing we need to do is figure out if we can work together
and come up with something we can both be proud of. You can listen to
the artists I have produced (Click Here) (
http://members6.boardhost.com/SongReviews/ ) and get an idea of what I
do. If you are a decent singer and I believe we can make a respectable
recording then I will probably be glad to work with you.
4. Deposits & Payments: The first thing required is a $200 deposit
and once that is paid we can start putting together your session. I
will help you find the songs if needed and will arrange them for you
using any ideas you may have. Once we find the songs and have picked a
date you send me the balance of $3,550 at least 2 weeks before the
session date and I book your session at a studio on Music Row. I
normally use Dixiana Studio (
http://nashvillecdstore.hypermart.net/Joni_Session.html ). We will cut
the basic tracks and overdubs there and then cut the final vocals,
harmonies and mix at Smokehouse studio.
5. The Band normally will consist of Bass, Drums, Rhythm Guitar,
Piano, Steel Guitar, Fiddle, Dobro, Electric Guitar & Mandolin. If I
believe a particular song calls for a specialty instrument I will use
it and there is no additional charge. I do not try to cut corners by
taking short cuts on the musicians we use.
6. Original songs. I have about 200 songs in my Music Publishing
Company that you are welcome to use (Royalty Free) if you are using
them on any project I produce.
7. Time it will take to record. Figure that it will take about 3 days
in the studio. If you are on a tight schedule you're part will be over
in two days. First day we cut the tracks with a scratch vocal and the
second day you will sing your final vocals. I figure you will have up
to 45 minutes to sing each song.
8. Practice Guitar tracks if needed. If you think you may have
trouble singing any of the songs you pick and do not play an
instrument I can record and send you an acoustic guitar track of the
song so you can practice it before you come to Nashville.
9. Final thoughts. Keep in mind that you are hiring me to make you
sound good and I take my job very seriously. I will do my best to see
that you have a good time in the studio. I work with some of the best
studio musicians in Nashville and they will do everything in their
power to make the best recording of your music as possible. Feel free
to E Mail any of the artists I have worked with (Click Here) (
http://members6.boardhost.com/SongReviews/ ) before and ask them any
questions you may have about working with me. Once you have paid your
deposit I am on your team and you can call(615) 742 0666and ask me any
questions you have and I will try my best to give you an answer.
Probably half of the artist I work with are recording their first CD
and have a lot of questions so don't be embarrassed to ask about
anything you don't understand.
I look forward to working with you and hope I can be a part of your
musical future.
