Hi friends - it's been awhile since we've had much going on in the
VLR. I received an e-mail notification that we've picked up a new
member, and from that address it appears as though our new friend(s)
is/are from the U.K. We've gone international! (And perhaps we
already were...) Welcome to the new folk(s).

I'm sure most of you are on Nancy's distro list, so you know she and
Richard are plugging away on "Basic Glee". From what I can
understand, the new CD is thisclose to completion. We should be
hearing some firm release information very soon, I predict.

I hope that many of you in the club are interested in hosting a house
concert this summer - it's a novel way for RX and NX to hit the road,
and I can't think of anyone else I'd rather invite into my home for
an evening's entertainment (of the non-sexual variety, anyway...).
I'm very hopeful that the schedule will bring them to Greenville, SC,
which is where I am. I'd also hope to make it to any other concerts
within driving distance, so check your Inbox for another appeal from
Nancy regarding the house concerts and stock your fridge for the
onslaught of friends and music lovers. Charge two bucks a beer and
you'll recoup all your out-of-pocket costs. Keep in touch, JB
