All the Saints are honored on All Saints Day, all those who fought
to further the Catholic Faith. That's why it's such a festive day; I
think that the one song that sums it up is "For All The Saints," a
majestic song that highlights the joy of the saints in Heaven
who've fought for bringing Jesus to the world, even to the point of
accepting death as a price to bring people to the "Way, truth and
life."
On All Souls Day, we honor those who've gone before us marked
with the sign of faith. As the Traditional Latin Mass has returned
to usage in many parishes around the country, the time honored
Requiem Mass has resurged in popularity. Also, there's
wonderful inspirational music for the day like "I Am The Bread Of
Life," "We Will Sing Our Song To God," and "We Will Rise Again."
These great songs, and many others are brilliant choices for
both All Saints and All Souls.
