Hello!
It's been awhile since I've written to you, but that's because I've
been writing. I am creating a vehicle for St. Eve that I'm very
excited about, but it'sin pretty larval stages.
For anyone who reads liner notes, you'll know who Brian Gocher is.
The good news is, I'm dragging him into the writing studio and
temporarily away fromwife/baby/the "deathstar" refrigerator.
I'll let you know more when there's more to tell.
Feel free to check my rants and moans at
http://www.livejournal.com/users/sainteve.
What this means is that I'm really trying to phase out the old style
of shows, but it's hard when good friends invite you to perform at
special events - like:
1. Tomorrow, Wed June 22nd at the infamous Knitting Factory in NYC
for Angel Eyedealism's farewell show. She signed that lease in
Prague and she'll be available to sing in your European town starting August
1st. She is possibly the mostcolorful person in New York.
2. Opening for VNV Nation in Barcelona on September 18th. Sergio
from http://www.eclipsegroupbcn.com says it's for real, so I'll keep
you up to date.
If you can come down to the NYC gig tomorrow, it would be great to
see you. I go on, sans band, at 12:30.
Here's the info:

Angel Eydealism will bid New York farewell with a send-off by the
lovely Miss Understood (screamingqueens.com), who will MC a crazy
night of fun and mayhem by Angel's best musical friends. This is a must-see and
be-seen-at event! The evening begins when the incomparable Von Von Von strolls
on stage and croons those sexyballads. Next up is Exegesis with hi-tech
hi-jinks. Then around the hour of night knownas Mid, our own Angel Eyedealism
whirls onstage and throws waves of dolphinesque sound down on those prostrate
before her.
Next St. Eve takes center stage to make you feel with emotions drawn in blood,
sweat
and tears. Then thrash diva Honeychild Coleman will use her secret ways to take
you to ethereal heights. Last, but absolutely not least, comes the Vanity Set
fronted by the
"Tallest Man in Rock," James Sclavunos of the BadSeeds. The exuberance of their
performance will keep you rockin' on the subway ride home.
Don't miss this amazing night never to be replicated again.
