Dear Saint Eve Yahoo Group Members -

There have been many changes with St. Eve, not least of all that the "band" will no longer be performing or recording. I have been focusing on video and things have been going well. The last St. Eve shows were last year, opening for VNV Nation in Spain.

For now, SaintEve.Net remains an archive site for "St. Eve" music from 2000-2005.

I have been soundtracking for projects and I might make "St. Eve" a character in a film, which would let me stretch-out musically, but the days of looking for club gigs to promote a record are over. To quote Hunter S. Thompson:"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." That said, I'll do a show at some point, but as another creature in another situation.

Like all the other children, I have a couple of MySpace pages. I joined so long ago that they didn't have special music pages and my "main" page is:
www.myspace.com/sainteve and I made a "music" MySpace page when it was invented, because it seemed like the indulgent thing to do at:
www.myspace.com/saintevemusic .

Feel free to write me with questions, comments, etc at gabrielle @ thesainteve.com. I'm not going to shut this Yahoo page down, as I may use it again at some point, but I felt you should know what's going on.
