Before I go on I'd like to say that I am a very lucky girl.
I'm really grateful that I have the opportunity to go on the road
and see America, for the first time, really because I've only
visited a few cities here and there. And the reason has much to
do with the creative people who have always helped me.
While I love playing with a stage full of musicians, it is not
feasible at this time to bring the talented gentlemen who've
performed with me for many shows the last two years. I look
forward to performing with them in the future, and in the
meantime you would probably enjoy their own projects very
much, as well as hiring them for your own nefarious uses.

Hello!
All kinds of wonderful things are afoot and I'm thrilled to share
them with you. As always, I believe you are as genius as you
look, so I don't send spammy reminders. It's an international list
and I respect that. Mark your calendars now for what's going on
with Saint Eve.
HEADERS:::::
- Bec (aka VJ HONEYGUN) shifts gears
- Saint Eve U.S. Tour
- New Website THESAINTEVE.com
- Lollapalooza, this Wednesday July 30
- Pianos, September 10
IN DETAIL::::
First of all, VJ Honeygun is onboard in a most serious way. You
may remember her name from various announcements, as she
has often provided stunning visuals with the Saint Eve shows.
Well folks, she plays guitar as well and she does nothing short
of rocking hard. Say hello to my new other half as Saint Eve
modulates into a new era with Honeygun at my side, providing
superfresh video and tough guitar. More information on
Honeygun can be found at http://www.honeygunlabs.com
Which leads me to the next announcement.
Saint Eve is going on tour in the US. After very few gigs this year,
as I navigate the new album to completion, there will be gigs
around America from August through December. Honeygun and
I will be creating an immersive multi-media experience. New
bookings are added often so check the website.
The new website is THESAINTEVE.com
(http://www.thesainteve.com) with all new additions. The
website you know and love is now the archive site at
SAINTEVE.net (http://www.sainteve.net). They link to each other,
so you'll get your information either way.
The gig in Cleveland, this past weekend, with The Mission
Boutique was a great success and I had a great time. Special
thanks to Marty, his wonderful staff, and the people at Peabody's
Down Under.
And last but not least, Upcoming Dates:
JULY 30th http://www.lollapalooza.com
Saint Eve will be at Lollapalooza on Wednesday in the Booty
Camp sector of the Jones Beach Ampitheatre in Long Island,
NY. Honeygun is out of town, but I will have the beautiful Ammo
and Caterina at my side and we will shake things up for our 30
minutes of casual infamy. Check the schedule when you get
there. That's what we have to do, too! This is ROCK AND ROLL,
Ladies and Gentlemen! Doors open at Noon and the Booty
Camp stage closes at 7pm. We accept psychic predictions of
our call time.
SEPTEMBER 10th (Wednesday)
Saint Eve at LadyHIVE night at Pianos http://www.pianosnyc.com
(Ludlow Street, NYC), with Tracy and the Plastics and other
multi-media acts.
We are still confirming many dates, so keep checking
thesainteve.com or feel free to email me at

Hello!
I was recently interviewed for a local television show called
IN-NYC TV. I have no idea how I come off, so I'm taking my
chances here.
The producer, John Pat Gallagher of http://www.in-nyc.com,
creates a show that runs on Saturday Nights. You can see it
online with a REAL player via
http://www.anzwers.org/free/skynet1/
and visit the channel 67 link.
Visit http://www.real.com if you need a free player.
My segment is this Saturday, May 31st at 10pm
on MNN Channel 67 or RCN Channel 110 in Manhattan.
xo,
gabrielle
Hello!
Here's some news about some fun stuff until I book more. I try to
avoid spam, so please do not expect reminders.
THIS WEDNESDAY, I play a party called Bitch. Sometimes, i'm
glad my Dad has passed on to the other side. See below for all
the info.
In July I go to Cleveland for the Mission Boutique Fashion Show.
How fun is that? They put on a rather big to-do.
In late August, The House of St. Eve revs up the overpriced RV
(don't forget the tip money for the blackwater man), packs the
fake fur coats for night, the lotions for day, the 2 gallons of water
per-person-per-day, and the gourmet snacks. Oh yes. It's that
time of year. http://www.burningman.com
May good things constantly happen to you.
Sincerely,
gabrielle

edition include singers from The Drive, Porn Rock, The Boxes,
Dirty Mary, Pretty Suicide, Smear Campaign and Apocalypstyk.
Host and DJ Steve Blush
Brucifer and the Röck Cändy band
And can you please check out those umlauts? How rock is that?
Those are the same umlauts that made German kids scream

Hi There -
Just a heads-up to let you know that the St. Eve website has
been redesigned by my good friend, who goes by the handle of
"Twelve".
It's a simpler site with no flash, just dhtml, and once you get past
the initial loader, is very quick for modem users as well as
broadband folks and works for all screen resolutions.
There are new pictures and some new video. New music
excerpts will be posted soon.
Cheers,
gabrielle

Hey Everyone!
I just got back from Europe and I've hit the ground running. The

couple of songs to track at midnight with images by Video DJ
Honeygun (honeygunlabs.com).

Yay Paree!
Hello Beautiful Ones!
I will be doing two solo shows in Paris this month. Maybe one
day I can drag the boys with me and play all band-style, but this
time it's just me, the video projections*, the backing cd and
whatever I can lug overseas without looking too suspicious.
Surprisingly, the wings never raise eyebrows and the parachute
is never questioned. The tweezers, however....
I'd like to thank *Betty and Wayne from Cartesian Lover who are
not only putting me up, but performing with me as well as their
own set. I will probably also use images from DJ Honeygun,
who mixes for me here when I'm a lucky girl
(http://www.honeygunlabs.com).
They are the sexiest video/audio duo out there. While geeky
"powerbookers" stare at their screen, hoping you'll like their
canned beats and mediocre images, CL seems to be making
love with their creations. This is my quote and I mean it.
Please visit their site and lavish praise at
http://www.cartesianlover.com
but really, you gotta see 'em live

Okay. Thursday is a BIG party with lots of cool stuff going on in
smaller rooms.
ZENWARP and ARENA PRODUCTIONS Present
The Lord of the Rings TWO TOWERS Official Film Release Party
DECEMBER 19th at Webster Hall
http://www.lordoftherings.net/
St. Eve will be performing at 12:30 on the main stage
One song with video intro
Gabrielle solo to track with the fabulous Nyx and Cyberia of the
P-Cult!
The performances are WAY too numerous to go into right here,
but I will mention that Kerry (St. Eve's live guitarist) has a great
band called Anathema Device, and they will be perfoming at
11:30 in the balcony lounge.
- There is also a $1000 costume contest. Win it and be popular!
- Open Bar from 10-11pm. Drink and be Mary. ;->
- Unusual Vendors!
- Rumors of orc d'heuvres may turn out to be true. Gosh, these
promoters feed you, too, dammit. WHO loves you?
- Free LOTR Collector's Merchandise Giveaways
PLUS, I've been learning video editing and my first guinea piglet
is the charismatic Shane Savant. Shane is the producer of this
event, and he called me up awhile ago and proposed that St. Eve
perform for this party. We decided to do a thematic show with
mirroring ideas. His will represent the forces of darkness and
mine will represent light - in a clubfriendly, LOTR tribute, campy
yet fierce kind of way. This is where the video intro idea came
from. His is done, of course, because he is more organized
than I am, but I am quite proud of my first venture out with Final
Cut Pro software. Check out Shane at his spooky best in this
sneak preview of his intro at

Hey there!
Some band and solo gabrielle dates here for the New York area.
Always feel free to check the website at http://www.sainteve.net
(2nd button from left) or just http://www.sainteve.net/shows.html.
I will be speaking and showing video at my FIRST talk show
appearance this Tuesday! Come down and be supportive so I
can be extra fabulous.
The full band will be performing at one of the world's most
amazing parties this Saturday. If you miss it you will hear about it
from other people and be sad.
Then Sunday I will join my madwomen friends, doing a song
with a cover band - because we can.
And a really intensely costumed perf-art piece (includes singing)
for a Lord of the Rings party in December because I am such a
fantasy geek and couldn't resist. Ladies get in free all night (all
excuses weaken here for not attending).

Hello!
ST. EVE will be performing twice next Halloween Week - in NYC
and in New Jersey. I will not be in New Orleans, as I had
previously announced. I will miss The French Quarter terribly,
but I'll find a way to go back soon enough. In the meantime, the
new record is actually getting mixed. It's taken a while because I
depend on the kindness of, well, everyone.
As some of you know, I do perform by myself to track on
occasion (like Grace Jones used to, but cheaper), but lately the
band has been good enough to join me on the next few St. Eve
adventures.
I am also very pleased to have some special guests joining us.
Besides the very talented bandmates, Fred, Kerry and AJ,
performance artists CYBERIA (of the P-CULT
http://www.pcult.com) and MISS CAITLIN will be adding extra
blonde dash to our show on the 31st as well as International
Creatrix MISSY GALORE, who will be doing a special
presentation before us at QXT's that night. And, Video DJ
HONEYGUN (http://www.honeygunlabs.com) will be creating her
beautiful hallucinations for us this Monday at Alchemy.
If you haven't seen what we do, it's time to check it out. We have
a bunch of new songs and I look forward to unleashing them on
you.
I finally got some descriptions of us, besides a long list of
possible influences. "Machine-Rock Cabaret" was my favorite.
And someone said about our show that I "brought the Weimar
Republic to Nine Inch Nails' House" after seeing our last
Alchemy performance.
Feel free (or feel pressured, whichever you prefer) to go to my
website and check out the SHOWS link, which is the tiny left
gonad on the larger button entitled NEWS (2nd from left on the
navigation bar). I keep this up to date and often you get
discounts for having printed out that page for the gig as your flyer.

The Final ENDLESS NIGHT Festival in New Orleans
HALLOWEEN, Thursday, October 31st
http://www.endlessnight.com
I will be doing some manner of singing to track, most likely with
good humored performance artists at my side.
Honestly, New Orleans rocks this time of year. I like finding an
excuse to go there. The weather is good, flights are cheap, it's
not too crowded but the crowd that is there will dress up, and the
oysters are fantastic.
---
We had a fun show at The Cthulhu Sex Magazine Party this last
Saturday. We debuted a buncha new songs and the amazing
cross-section of people seemed to really like them, filling the
dancefloor with the most eclectic mix of people I have seen in a
long time. Not bad for new tunes! Check out our hosts' fine
selection of literary erotic horror (pictures too!) at
http://www.cthulhusex.com.
---
Unfortunately, our show at Myke's night, Infestation (at
Connections in New Jersey) this Wednesday is not going to
happen due to a scheduling mixup, so if you are in the area,
don't let it stop you from stopping in. They will be going strong
that night with another band. We will probably re-schedule
sometime early next year as our Wednesdays are weirdly
booked, between all the bandmates, for the rest of this year.

Hello Lovely Ones!

feeling like you might need to go to some cool spaces and see
St. Eve, pen these notes into your calendar now.
Shows are

see what I mean.
September 21 - Cthulhu Sex Magazine Party (Can you miss this?
The answer is no. Get in cheaper if you print out this email.
Excuses for not attending - flimsy.)
September 25 - Myke Hideous' Infestation night at Connections
in NJ. The good news about this show is that we will know the
new songs even better. By then, I will have sprung all kinds of
new stuff on the guys. Come see the looks on their faces!

thought and painfully twist through subtle sensibilities. This is
enjoyment for the connoisseur of the dark and erotic.

Hello!
We're not playing too much this quarter of 2002 in NYC, so if
you'd like to check us out, Friday will be a rare opportunity. I
will not be sending out reminders, so mark your calendar and
figure out something to wear for the costume contest.
If you get there before 11pm with a pass, it's $10 and then
there's an open bar from 11-Midnight, so essentially it's free or
better, even if you're just slamming back Shirley Temples. If you
win the contest, it's like getting paid to go out.
The club is walking distance of Steelow's Fun house at
Flamingo East (219 Second Ave), so it will be a fine night to
prowl.
I am scheduled to perform at Night of a 1000 Stevies on May
10th, but that is a one-song track date (no band), and it's a ways
off. More info for that can be found at http://www.mothernyc.com

DRAGON CON (http://www.dragoncon.com)
Atlanta, GA -- August 31-September 3
I'm doing a track date on Saturday, Sept. 1st
4pm on the Concourse - Very Simple Performance
Right between Paul Mercer of The Changelings and the ubiquitous
Voltaire. Most people wil be doing an acoustic thing on the
concourse. I'll figure something out that morning, cuz I can't play
guitar - not with THESE nails.
I might be playing at a local club that night but I am still waiting
confirmation. If you are interested and might be in the Atlanta
area, email me so I don't have to post again to the whole list.

NOLA
Our next scheduled band show will be in New Orleans for Halloween.
Saturday, Oct. 27 - The Endless Night Festival
To be held in the ballroom and tourist areas of The Wax Museum -
Musee Conti (http://www.get-waxed.com)
http://www.endlessnight.com. If the website is not loading properly,
feel free to email fathertodd@... for more information.
Otto's Daughter has just been added to the bill so this should be a
really fun gig. (http://www.ottosdaughter.com)
If you are planning on attending, please check out flights and hotels
soon, as they are going quickly. I think Jet Blue still has direct
flights at reasonable prices.

If you plan on coming to the Irving Plaza Show on Saturday, that I
just mentioned in my mamasan of an email the other day, there is a
time change.
August 18th, THIS Saturday
ST. EVE @ Irving Plaza
We are going on at 12:30 after Coil.
Anathema Device follows us with a powerful set at 1:30.
The night will probably end around 2:30am at Irving, leaving you
enough time to check out other clubs, my night creatures.
There's a lot to stick around for!
Here's all the info for the great Saturday Night line-up:
Irving Plaza (17 Irving Place, NYC -- http://www.irvingplaza.com/ --

AUGUST 18 (Saturday) -- CONVERGENCE 7
In order to attend this show, you must buy a ticket to the entire
convention. This might change, so check with the Convergence folks.
I have nothing to do with their rules.
Stuff is happening all weekend, so check it out --
http://www.convergence7.com/
Convergence is the annual net.goth convention and music festival,
this year being held in New York City. Convergence has grown into the
largest gothic/industrial gathering in North America, and holds the
distinction of having the longest continuous run of any such event
anywhere.
Also performing that night are ANATHEMA DEVICE, Kerry Smith's
powerful solo project, manifested live with a full band. I will be
singing back-up on one song for them and Kerry will be playing guitar
with lucky St. Eve. Other bands that night are the dreamy THE MIRROR
REVEALS and CLAIRE VOYANT.

Greetings!
It's me, Gabrielle, with a humongous email. I promised there
wouldn't be much mail coming from the newsletter and I haven't sent
anything in the last few months. So, now I'm making up for lost
time. If you'd like to unsubscribe from the list, just let me know
or you can unsubscribe yourself by going to yahoogroups.com.
Good things have been brewing at The House of St. Eve and there's
quite a bit of news to share with you, including two performance
dates coming soon and one on Halloween that you might want to start
preparing for.

NEW MUSIC
I have been known to do covers from time to time for special gigs and
my old 80's party, Heroes. Well, last January I was asked to
contribute to a Tori Amos tribute compilation and it's out now.
SONGS OF A GODDESS
St. Eve covers "She's Your Cocaine" on the Cleopatra Records
release "Songs Of A Goddess". Check out http://www.cleorecs.com
and reviews at amazon.com

Other great New York acts on this compilation include Unto Ashes*
(http://www.untoashes.com), Voltaire* (http://www.voltaire.net) and
Glampire (http://www.glampire.com)
SEX DEATH & EYELINER - documentary soundtrack
http://www.darkfuturemusic.com
Buy the Soundtrack! Buy the Video!
I'm honored to be included on this soundtrack with many other fine
bands such as
Godhead (http://www.godhead.com), on tour with Ozzfest, now
The Machine in the Garden (http://www.machineinthegarden.com/ )
Yes, I'm in the documentary offering my opinions on the goth scene.
That was 1998, and I was coordinating the first Endless Night Vampyre
Festival, and for me it was truly an endless night. It was vampiric
in that I never saw daylight, never saw myself in a mirror, and then
I worked my patooties off and looked it. These people interviewed me
on the last day of the festival and I am still afraid to see what
they filmed. In the meantime, Jack Dean Stauss of GothicRadio.com
has formed Dark Future Music Records, and the soundtrack is their
first release.
Two years later I was booked at the House of Blues for the same
festival, so I guess it paid off. The festival booked me again this
year, see below and book your flights.
ELIXIR
The St. Eve debut full-length cd ELIXIR is in the works. More news
on that in the next few months... Look for the ad in Outburn
magazine this September. Hey - I bought the ad so people would see
it. ;-)
You can still order the 6 song ep DEMONSTRATION online at

NEW PEOPLE
I have a talented new collaborator. His name is Faed and he has been
very busy producing tracks and working on the live set with me. Come
meet him at the shows listed below!

UPCOMING SHOWS
This Saturday, August 18th and Friday August 24th.
Except for some shows in Europe, almost every St. Eve show has been
performed to track, either by myself or with a guest performance
artist. While I may still do a few track dates here and there, St.
Eve will now start performing as a band. The line-up for these two
shows:
ST. EVE -- LIVE BAND
Faed Ditman keys/bass
Kerry Smith guitar (http://www.anathemadevice.com)
AJ Tissian drums (Produced, programmed and played guitar on the
Demonstration cd and on the Tori tribute, listed above!)

It should be creepy enough, being a wax museum and all. We will be
playing in their ballroom, but guests have access to the whole place.
Flights and hotels are booking fast. In fact, start making dinner
reservations! New Orleans is wonderful this time of year, as it
isn't too hot. While the city is fairly busy during this time, it
isn't the crazy throng of Jazz Fest or Mardi Gras. Plus, so many
people dress up all weekend, it's fun.

POLITICS
Party this Thursday, August 16th --
http://esqu.org/alangerson/flyer.html
Some of you know that I am also an event planner. Well, nothing is
quite as obnoxious to a party as an NYPD violation for breaking the
NYC cabaret law. Three people or more, swaying in a rhythmic manner
in a public venue without an expensive license for such behavior is
enough reason to send people to court. A few people are working hard
to get this silly, racist law reversed. Originally, the law was
meant to keep white women out of Harlem in the 1920's.
Matt E. Silver, Chi Chi Valenti, Johnny Dynell and other hosts are
part of a party for Downtown City Council candidate Alan Gerson.
I do not endorse any political figure publicly and the passing on of
this invite does not necessarily reflect any political position on my
part. Supposedly this candidate is interested in changing the
cabaret law in New York City, and I really hate that law, so I'll
pass this info on in the name of possibly supporting someone on "our"
side.
When I saw that Chi Chi and Johnny (from the club, Mother
http://www.mothernyc.com) were event hosts, I figured it had to be
okay.
The party costs money at the door but then there are 2 open bars and
appetizers http://esqu.org/alangerson/flyer.html.
For his perspective on Cabaret License see
http://www.voteforalan.com/position.cgi

That's it for now.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Blessings,
Gabrielle

questions after reading through this stuff.
St. Eve "Demonstration" CD's will be available at the show - now with

at http://www.st-eve.net from the Merchandise link.
I'm currently working on new material and may be performing early
demo versions of stuff at these shows. Deadlines are always
productive for me. I've learned that writing the lyrics on Sara's
back was not easy to read, though it looked cool on her. I'll figure
something out. St. Eve karaoke anyone?
With kindest regards,
gabrielle
