With a big party in Athens, Greece wished "good luck" to Sakis Rouvas and the
Greek delegation, who flew for Constantinople on tuesday the 4th of May.
Everything and everyone is ready for the Semi-final and the Big Night. The Greek
delegation is very optimistic about the final result; an optimism that is
underlined by the fact that "Shake It" is currently first in the bets for the
winner of the 49th Eurovision Song Contest.
The "good luck" party was organized by Vodafone, the sponsor of this year's
Greek entry. Lots of journalists and artists were present and the new video-clip
of "Shake It" shot in Santorini island, was first presented to the public.
Nikos Terzis, the composer of Shake It was also there.
The first Greek rehearsal run well. Sakis is superb on stage. There were some
technical, sound problems but nothing to worry about as by the end of the
rehearsal everything was OK.
The reason for the cancellation of the Greek press conferrence is that due to
the delays, the whole schedule was delayed and so the Greek press conferrence.
But a very important meeting was scheduled for Sakis at the same time that the
Greek press conferrence was moved due to the delays, and this meeting could not
be cancelled. So the Greek press conferrence was re-scheduled for Friday.
Sakis also gave an exclusive interview to CNN Turk, an interview that will be
broadcast by CNN Turk on 13:00 EET, on 19:00 EET and on almost every full hour,
as the Turkish press considers him one of the hot favorites for the victory.
will keep you posted on everything new
don't forget to vote for Sakis!!
love and peace
