Sakis Shakes Abdi Ipekci!
Saturday, May 8 (DAY 4): The rehearsals of the Qualifier participants are
concluded today with the rest 11 countries having their second rehearsal (30
minutes each). Yesterday Sakis gave an absolutely great performance that
justified the "Shake It" top position in the bets. Sakis won the impressions and
he is rightfully the hot favorite for the victory on May 15. The Greek entry
still holds the 1st place in the bets. Sakis has revealed some of the tricks
that he is going to use during his performance both in the Qualifier Round and
the Big Final.

The press conferrence met a huge success also. The press room was full of
journalists, fans and lots of cameras. During the press conferrence, the three
Eurostars, Antonis Dominos, Gianna Fafaliou and Apostolos Psychramis, who are
the backing vocalists, performed a slow version of "Shake It". Greek fans in
Constantinople are delighted by Sakis performance and the positive reception
that the Greek entry has. They do not hesitate to declare their enthousiasm: "It
is now or never!".

Sakis is considered to be the hot favorite by the Turkish Press also. Every day
he gives interviews to TV stations and magazines. In Greece, Sakis participation
at Eurovision and his high chances for a victory is in almost every Evening News
programme of the TV stations. The optimism is great, the General Director of the
Greek Public Television (ERT) is already in Constantinople following the Greek
delegation, while the mayor of Athens, Ntora Mpakogianni is expected to join the
Greek delegation on Sunday.

The OGAE Greece reporters will be with us with photos and all the information
about the rehearsals and the press conferences of DAY 4.
