Sakis-mania in Greece!
As expected, Sakis' superb performance and the qualification of Greece to the
Big Final of the 49th Eurovision Song Contest, was the story of the day in all
media in Greece. The optimism is big as it is the first time Greeks feel so
close to the victory in the Eurovision Song Contest. Ilias Psinakis, Sakis'
manager, and member of the Greek delegation, mentioned that winning is not an
easy thing as the contest is very hard this year and that we all should stay
ground to earth. Nikos Terzis, the composer of "Shake It" asked all the Greeks
to send Sakis all their positive energy on Saturday night. The 49th Eurovision
Song Contest Qualifier Round got very high TV-ratings as more than 2,000,000
Greeks watched the show, a TV-share of 47%.
