Sally's musical career began in 1968, with Sallyangie, a duo formed with her younger brother Mike. Sallyangie launched Mike Oldfield's career, while Sally had to wait until 1978 to record her first solo album. In the meantime, she did some vocals on various albums by different people, including Mike's early albums.

Once really started, she has been doing albums on a regular basis, at first in England, later in Germany, a place where she says she loves working, and where she has been very successful.
