Hello Will,
Pleased to meet you and welcome to the group. Things have not been the
same around here since they switched formats a while back but
hopefully some fresh faces around here can turn things around. I
wholeheartedly agree with you on Louie! Although I have been a fan for
a much shorter period (since my high school senior year, about 4-5
years ago from now) I have listened to many songs of his and am
thrilled to know with all the music I heard from him it is only the
tip of the iceberg. I guess you could say I am way too old fashioned
compared to other ppl my age but I will listen to pretty much
anything. I have in my cd collection modern guys like Eminem, Green
Day, Dave Matthews, etc. Also have a fair collection of classical
music, BB King, German beer hall music, gospel, classic country and
bluegrass as well as jazz guys like Wynton Marsalis and Brubeck. But
the vast majority of my collection is devoted to Louie. There is one
song I have been trying like hell to get, which is Louis Armstrong's
version of "Let My People Go." If anyone knows where it is please do tell.
Anyways I have rambled on long enough lol. Will like some updates from
the guys out there. How's Rolf? How's Cornet Mike? How's isitreal?
