Have you ever considered donating the photograph to a museum or
archives? I am an archivist myself, and knowing the nature of the
materials used in photographs at the time, they can be very difficult
to fix if not preserved properly. The ink in the fountain pens they
used at the time will corrode the surface of the photograph like you
wouldn't believe. What type of protection are you using for this
photo? Is it in an album or a frame, and if so, is it archival quality?
