Hey Mick,
I am almost certain there is at least a handful of sheet music
available there. In fact, I would like to see what they have. It may
cost you money for copying fees, but every penny you give them is used
to preserve his personal belongings and keep his house open to the
public. As a cornet player, I have bought some old sheet music and by
far my favorite piece is the music to "Wild Man Blues" with it's great
lively up and down trumpet solo from Louie's Hot Seven days. You can
hear the song off www.redhotjazz.com. Really cool site there, which
includes music from Bix Beiderbecke, my second favorite trumpet player
next to Louie.

along with Louis since I was a kid. In fact when the band director
came into my classroom in 4th grade and asked who wanted to learn an
instrument I was the 1st one to get my hand up. I knew what
instrument I wanted to play,... trumpet. I have bought every bit of
Louis Armstrong sheet music I can get my hands on. I'll bet there are
some really fine songs in the archives at Queens.
