Kurt Cobain's 80's girl band

I was helping out at a charity do for the British
Heart Foundation on Friday and my mate the DJ played a
Seafruit song (Air i think) when he was testing out the
gear before anyone came. One of the main organisers
was impressed.<br><br><br>On a different note i
managed to blag tickets to the Matchbox 20 gig on Tuesday
night in Hammersmith. I was trying to explain to my Mum
who they were. <br>"They're some American band, quite
big in the States they are. The lead singer did that
Smooth song with Santana" <br>"How did that go
again"<br>I then started to sing a bit until i realised she
didn't know it.<br>She then asked " So will these
Nirvana people be there then?" <br>"Santana Mum. And
besides, the lead singer of Nirvana has been dead about
six years."<br>"So he won't be there
then?"<br><br>And she calls me simple?!? Still she did say it was
difficult because they both had 'ana' in them which is a
fair point. I can just imagine Bananarama doing 'Come
As You Are' ...<br><br>Scott
