its first online auction, SWAG 2001, the Canadian Music Therapy Trust
Fund is pleased to announce the launch of SWAG 2002. SWAG 2002 will
provide music fans from around the world the opportunity to bid on an
incomparable collection of music rarities, collectibles and
experiences on eBay.ca. The fundraiser, which runs from April 15 –
28, 2002, is a 14-day online celebrity extravaganza, with a variety
of one-of-a-kind items and experiences – normally only available to
music industry insiders. Last year, the event raised more than
$30,000.00 to support music therapy research and programs across
Canada.
What is SWAG? SWAG is music industry slang for memorabilia,
collectibles and loot.
This year many of Canada's top musicians have donated items or
experiences including Sum 41, Nickelback, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis
Morissette, Joni Mitchell and Sloan.
