POSH and Becks are expecting their second baby —
and pals say they may call it Essex. David, 26, and
Victoria, 27, called first baby Brooklyn after the New York
area where he was conceived.

So the new tot
could be named in honour of their £2.5million mansion
on the Essex border. The couple confirmed yesterday
the baby is due in September.

Proud Posh and
Becks said their two-year-old son Brooklyn is delighted
about the new baby.

England skipper David, and
Victoria, said in a statement: “Brooklyn is really looking
forward to having a little brother or sister to play
with.

“This year has been such an exciting year for us —
England are in the World Cup finals, Victoria’s had a
second top 10 hit and now we are expecting a new baby.
It’s fantastic.”

Victoria celebrated the news
by going on a shopping trip to London’s West End
with mum Jackie.

Posh is believed to have
already booked rooms at London’s Portland Hospital, where
she gave birth to Brooklyn.

And Manchester
United star David has cleared his diary for September so
he will be there for the birth.

The couple
have also been looking at £2million family properties
near Manchester, proving he has every intention of
staying at Old Trafford.

The pair have been
looking at houses in the leafy Wilmslow and Prestbury
areas.

They currently own an apartment nearby and want a
bigger house similar to their mansion on the Essex/Herts
border, which has been dubbed Beckingham
Palace.

Last night, Victoria’s delighted dad Tony said: “We
are very excited and absolutely delighted and happy
that Brooklyn will have a little brother or sister in
September.

“Victoria is currently on her way to Manchester to see
David.”

Becks was training with his team-mates ahead of today’s
home clash with Aston Villa.

Tony added: “I
heard the news earlier today after she had it
confirmed, although we knew it was a possibility. They have
been trying for a little while. Everyone is just
really pleased.”

David’s mum Sandra added: “I’m
thrilled and over the moon, although it’s very early days
yet.”

Victoria’s new manager John Glover said: “It is wonderful
news and we are very pleased for
them.

“Victoria will be continuing with her work and we are
planning the promotion of her third single.”

Her next release — due out in May — is a duet with
dance star Robbie Craig, called I Wish.

Becks
