This week was full of fun new goodies. From a cheesy/loungy version of a guilty pleasure - The Beegees' "How Deep Is Your Love", to a fun, cheesy sleazy track by Brenda Harris called "Making Love (Keeps You Fit)"! I have to agree with that song...but boy that must mean I'm out of shape. (cue rimshot!) Also, check out the AWESOME Todd Terje remix of my new favortist Herbie/Sylvester track "Magic Number!" Want some more cool, classic disco & dance? How about the boogaloo/breaks track "Happy Soul" by Dave Cortez, or Instant Funk's off-the-wall instrumental discojazzfunk "Wide World of Sports"? We also have some more recent remix goodness in the shape of Greg Wilson's re-working of DC LaRue's "Cathedrals"?! We also have R&B/groove jams like Steve Parks' "Moving In the Right Direction" and "I Was Tired of Being Alone" from one of my favorite Patrice Rushen albums. New jams include a selection from Booka Shades' new DJ Kicks mix, a Bonde De Role remix, a new Cassius track, and Calvin Harris.
