Below is the setlist for my March 22 KALX show.

This week I had the pleasure of having the HONEYSOUNDSYSTEM DJs on my show.
Listen & enjoy their vast knowledge of underground & strong disco tracks!

They came on to talk about their party that weekend - "Dancer From The Dance" - a nightclub experience adaptation of Andrew Holleran's novel chronicling 1970s gay New York underground culture, and its disco music.

During the course of the show, Robot Hustle played later-70s French & US disco; Josh Cheon played early 70s soul/funk that was adopted at the start of disco and referenced in the book; Deejay Peeplay chatted it up, and guest from NY and DJ at the party, Jeffrey Sfire bought a lovely pink Guggi makeup bag-turned-headphone case when we all went on our romp through Goodwill. The party was AWESOMEE!

All DJs have myspaces, and mixes recorded and available to download. A coupla them have radio shows too. And they're local. And awesome. Listen to them. Look them up. Support them. Dance to them!!
