WOW! What a fun time I had last weekend! Friday I DJed at Cafe Flore, which was hosting the Harvey Milk Democratic Club's Holiday Party! Then I jetted to catch Bobitto at Pink. He was a'ight - he could have mixed more enthusiastically - but I did have the pleasure of running into many friends, including the elusive and awesome Mauricio Aviles, who I hadn't seen in like a year. Saturday I had a blast at the taping of my friend's Dance Party Revival  show, attended a holiday party with my best bud Scott

 

and raced with my fancy X-Mas threads to the seedy Deco for the TIGHT Ferrari monthly party! Finally Sunday I hit the HNYSNDSYSTM weekly! Check out pics from the weekend in my "Why I Love S.F." album! Also Sunday was a 'family reunion' of LA's Funkmosphere crew coming up to chill with SF's Sweater Funk posse! At the last hour - 4:30-5:30 - BT LeBaron of the awesome Beat Electric crew will be coming on to lay down some jams! Now, you may know them from the treasure trove of awesome tunes they provide for FREE downloading from their blog. But you have got to check their parties out live! We're talking about disco balls, lasers, fog machines and strobe lights! And they attract a cool crowd, including a bit of an art school crowd, including oh-so-cute art school girls! Their parties make you feel the enjoyment (but a bit more innocently) of the decadent 80's disco scene! It is FUN.

But this week he'll be coming on to promote THE New Year's Eve party of the year! In the past year you've heard me talk about some great disco crews or I've played with them or I've had them on my show. On New Year's Eve they're all under one roof - along with some awesome headliners - for a full-on NYE rager! Alas, I am not playing this party but do look forward to coming in my PJs and dancing/partying/fooling around with my fellow friends/DJs/crewmates 'til they kick us out at 6!
