One more things I forgot to mention,
About 2 years ago I went into a beautiful Church [First English
Lutheran] with 5 wonderful string players and my jazz group. Over
the
course of 3 days we produced an album of string orchstral jazz. I've
shopped this project around a bit, but most labels aren't interested
in
taking the "risk" at putting out a project now that somewhat
resembles
what Miles Davis did with Gil Evans. I'm more interested in getting
this album out on the airwaves and in peoples ears that it just
sitting
ona shelf in my studio. I'm considering releaasing it as a benefit/
fundraising album for a local or national charity. I've worked with
the Pediatric Aids Legue before, so that's a possibility. But hey,
may
a group of them would be a better idea.
So consider this letter a call for any of you to contact me if you
are
interested or have connections to an organization who might pick up
the
ball on this idea. The music is done and ready to go. All I need is
help.
