Shelley Preston shot to fame in 1985 after becoming the new member of pop group Bucks Fizz. Within 6 weeks of joining the group, they embarked on an extensive UK tour. By the time she left the group in 1990 she had toured the world. Since then she has become a highly sought after session/back-up singer, working with artists such as INXS, Brian May, Beverley Craven, Michael Bolton, Hadley Norman Keeble (ex-Spandau Ballet), Luther Vandross and of course Belinda Carlisle with whom she still works with to this day.

Shelley has recorded vocals for Richard Drummie (Go West), and for Italian string and piano quintet, Quintessenza. Shelley also continues to write and record for the chill-out music project Cloudfish. In December 2004 Shelley reunited with 3 other original recording members of Bucks Fizz for the Here and Now UK Arena tour.

Today Shelley continues to work with her partner Steve Norman (from Spandau Ballet) on the Cloudfish music project, and have been working on some brand new material.
