Re: [Shibuya-kei] Re: new member introduction

Good tips, Felicity!

Gotta add my 2yen that Boy Meets Girl give the best DJ show for 90's
Shibuya-kei fans! And Chu is a tiny and cozy place worth the visit.

Minekawa, Cornelius, Flipper's Guitar. The club is difficult to find. You have
to walk a fair way from Shibuya train station, I don't want to give instructions
because I can't remember too well how I got there. Best to print off a map and
show it to the Koban however if you've been to Japan before I bet you have
already experienced all this before. Suffice to say that it's in a basement
with a tiny sign outside. And it's pretty tiny inside too. But the crowd is
nice and friendly.

Tokyo is Milk (The World's Greatest Enjoy Space) in Ebis located in the same
building as a cheesy British pub but in the basement.

> Go to Milk late, after 11 as they have gigs on for punk tots before that,
truely dreadful Greenday alike bands. However after 11 they have some great
experimental electronic music, people from the Boredoms have played there also
Junko Mizuno did a mural for them which is sadly not there any longer but when I
went someone was painting a fresh one whilst the djs played. It's a mix of live
music and djs and is absolutely fantastic.

> By the way I only discovered Shimokitazawa just before I left Tokyo. It's
much cooler than Shibuya or Harajuku, lots of clothes and record shops and I
went to the most blinding gig in a live house there. Check it out if you have
time.
